Cinder ducked into the tent and sat on the bed this was not going as planned. Teloki and the others went about their business, but Cinder just sat there, this was something that she didn't know. Suddenly Teloki rushed into the tent and looked around the room. Cinder looked up and stood. "Hi. What are you doing?" Teloki asked. Cinder looked up and nodded. "I am fine, just worried, what happened?" Teloki shook his head. "Cinder, we didn't want to tell you but Kelly...she...is gone we don't know where she went."

Cinder grasped his arm. "What?! Seriously and no one went after her?!" she asked and grabbed her sword from where it was leaning against the wall and grabbed her cloak and pushed past him out into the darkness. She could hear Nathan calling to her from the tents but she didn't bother to turn back, if Kelly was gone there was only one thing that could have happened, Rakol was not dead and he would be coming for what was his, the cloak, they had to keep it out of his hands and get as far from here as possible.

As she ran, she opened her eyes to the shadows, and she could see perfectly. "Show me where Kelly went." She thought as the shadows milled around her and suddenly, they were gone. Cinder felt one of them grab her arm and she felt it pulling her along, one of the things that you didn't know about Shadows is if they where actually going to help you or if they where just going to lead you to your death.

The shadow lead her deeper into the forest, she could hear from behind her the others trying to follow, so she opened her hand and let a stream of fire trail behind her a way so that they could see it and follow.

Suddenly the shadows stopped, and Cinder collapsed onto the ground, around her was dark trees but in front of her she couldn't believe her eyes, Kelly stood looking at her, a knife to her sister's throat.

"Cinder!" Ember screamed. Cinder got to her feet and looked at Kelly. "Let her go." She said. Kelly looked at her and smirked. "You really think that I would just let her go?' Kelly hissed 'After everything that you have done to me.?" Cinder looked at Kelly "What happened to you?" Cinder whispered and looked around, Rakol was dead, why was Kelly acting this way? She thought.

"I know that you didn't think that I would think of this on my own did you, my master is alive, Shadows never die and now that he is reborn, I will have my revenge.!" Kelly nodded and suddenly Cinder's worst fears came true, Rakol walked out of the shadows, carrying his sword that Cinder had seen burned and melted into small stones. Rakol was alive and very much looking for revenge.

"Cinder, glad of you to make it." Rakol laughed and with a flick of his wrist to Cinder's horror her friends where lead out, Ash and Nathan had cuts on their arms and wrists like they had put up a fight, Kia just looked lost and Tayrah and Teloki both where gagged and tied.

"Now, I know that you and your friends didn't think that I would be alive, but I am very much so, would you like me to show you that I am?" Rakol asked.

Cinder glared at him and suddenly her sword was wreathed in fire. "I suggest that you put that away, unless you want me to kill one of them." Kelly warned as she pulled her sword from her scabbard.

Cinder paused and Teloki shook his head, Cinder glared at Kelly and put her sword away, keeping her throwing daggers ties loose, in case that she needed to use them.

"What do you want?" Cinder asked, letting her hands hang loose at her sides. Rakol looked at her but Cinder kept her eyes on Kelly, she had a hold of Teloki and as she looked at him his face twisted in pain and Cinder could hear a muffled scream coming from him. Turning around Cinder glared at Rakol "Stop it!" she screamed. Rakol looked at her "I want peace, for centuries now, I and my people have been given the littlest portions, no voting rights, our leaders are chosen for us and we are given no say on the council and everyone fears us, we didn't ask for this, but we are treated like monsters."
