Cinder and the others went up the stairs and looked around, this whole place was wind, fire, water, light and earth proof, it was was like they expected them to come here and stay and train. Five rooms that were conjoined lay on the second floor while the first was the dining room and the training course. Well it was huge and no one would be able to get in unless they had a card, and on our getting into the gate we were all given ours, so that no one would bug us when we were training. Cinder went in and looked around and gasped everything that they could imagine was in there. Things that Cinder could burn and target, things that Ash could move with the wind, things that Nathan would be able to move and use, things that Taya could brighten and make shine and target, things that Kelly could use with her water. It was all here, everything that they could think of for a training room. Cinder went to her room and started to freshen up when a maid came in and handed her her letter Cinder opened it and laid it on her nightstand where she could reach it and changed her clothes, her dresses where all the same but all different colors so she picked one that was red, orange and black and felt like it suited her best. She got dressed and went out of her room and down the hall looking for Ash and the others. Where were they? She wondered had they gotten lost? Suddenly she saw water droplets coming her way and she ducked trusting herself that she was right, she looked and saw Kelly looking at her smiling, her arms folded over her chest "well someone is jumpy today, you finally decided to come and join us, we are meeting in the dining hall to meet our host." Cinder looked at her and smiled, she was not the only one to be late she thought so it would be also Kelly's fault that they were late. Soon they came to the door that was the dining room and went in, Cinder saw the Tayrah and Nathan where already there with Ash they were just waiting for them and their host, who was it, he had not shown himself when they came in the night before, what had he wanted to hide? Cinder wondered and then they all sat down, they didn't have long to wait because their host came shortly after and looked at them, it was a girl, a little older than themselves. Cinder looked at her and frowned, she thought that it was going to be a grown adult, but it was a child, like themselves. They didn't expect that. The girl looked at them and took her spot at the head of the table and looked at each of them and nodded "welcome to my home, you are most welcome any time that you wish and you may roam anywhere that there is not a locked door, the servant's here are here for you, and will obey your every command so you are Cinder, Ash, Nathan, Tayrah and Kelly?"; they nodded not knowing what to say to her. "i expect that you have see the training course?" Cinder nodded "yes we have seen it and thank you for having us..." Kelly and the others said so as well and the girl nodded "well, now that I know your names you must know mine." "what is your name?" Kelly asked the girl nodded "my name is Adriana and I am your guardian, I am here to guide you on your quest to unite us and the Shadowhunters is that not why you are here?" Cinder nodded "yes that is, but how did you know? i could tell because you already succeeded In getting a Shadow-hunter to come with you, Kalia...you are a shadowhunter are you not?" Kalia looked at her and nodded "yes I am, but I am going to help Cinder and the others and not my fellow Shadowhunters." Adriana nodded and smiled "that is a noble calling and one that was torn from your community when" Cinder looked at Adriana and shook her head, what would they do with her? She was so full of herself and that was not what they wanted. Cinder looked at Adriana and then at the others "let's go practice with our elements, shall we?" Kelly and the others nodded their agreement and so they all went into the room that they had been shown and looked around, what would they start on first? Cinder made a flame and bounced it off of her hand and smiled at the others "shall we?" she asked, they all nodded and all went to their separate corners, Cinder in the middle and started to practice with their element. Cinder conjured a flame and took It through some movements and smiled it was still there and so she made it go under and over things. And then she saw Kelly practicing and smiled, she was like music with her element, she looked like she was doing a dance so beautiful and rhythmic it made Cinder smile to see her walk through her exercises and then she looked at Tayrah and then at the boys and saw that they were all doing fine and so she decided to do something to bounce things around and so she sent a stream of fire through Kelly's ball of water and it hissed but didn't go out and Kelly looked at it and then made her own stream as did Nate then Tayrah and Ash, all five of them where in a circle looking at their streams of each of their element and smiled, they were working together and that was what they were supposed to do. That's how they were going to defeat the shadow-hunters, together, not separate, that was what they needed to do they had to work together all of the time. Sometimes they didn't and then their elements didn't work together ether and then they had a mess on their hands. And no one wanted that to happen. After they had their training session they all went to the sitting room to discuss what would happen now. Should they go after Teloki or what? He would have the eastern region in his grasp by the time they got around to asking the council about what they should do, they should just do it on their own and not wait for the council to make a decision because the damage would be done and they would have done nothing about it. hey had to take action but how? The only thing that she could think to get him and Kivi off of their land, well it was a sacrifice that she would have to take. Tomorrow they would go out and practice outside so that they would be ready for whatever they threw their way. When would they go? That's what they were all asking her, because they had been at this safe house for a while now, about six days and they had trained their hardest and improved a lot since they had come to this place. Where they now ready to go out and face the path that they were suppose to lead? Cinder looked at the others and together they threaded their elements together once more and then made them disappear so that they could travel faster without the burden of their elements, but they would be there ready to be used if needed if any danger came their way on their journey they would be ready for what would come. Cinder and the others looked at each other and smiled, whatever happened they had each others backs at all times and that was the way that they liked it. Cinder took the lead as it got darker as they went along and lite the path with her fire that she had in her hand and little by little they came on their way. Suddenly they looked up and saw that the sky was getting darker they had to find shelter for the night. Cinder thought and looked at the others, they were all tired from how long they had been traveling. Ash looked around and saw that there was nowhere for them to stay, why did they have to leave the training house, it was warm and dry there and they where going some place that they didn't know what was awaiting them. Tayrah looked up and saw that the sun was getting dim and she took some of the light from the air and pushed it up to the sun and it got brighter by the second, and she smiled, that was more like it. Cinder and the others looked at her and she smiled it is part of us ,we give some of the light from the air to the sun that way our light magic will continue throughout the years... they all still stared at her and so she went silent and continued on her way, they didn't understand what was important to her and her Nation, they were the best to defeat the Shadow-hunters, but in their own land that was another story altogether. They had to get there and get out before they noticed that they were there and then this would be over and done with once and for all and they could all go their separate ways and forget that this ever happened. But she couldn't do that, she promised that she would go to this to the end.
