CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
After school I met Cris in front of the school. Then we started walking to my house. "So about Jason? Why do you guys fight so much?" I asked Cris.
"It's complicated you wouldn't under stand. Your a girl it's a guy thing." He said like it was perfectly fine to say that. I stopped and just looked at him.
"Do you really want to go there. Girls are just as good as boys if not better! I will be able to understand a little boy fight!" I said getting mad.
"Ok sorry honey." He said honestly. "We fight because he's jealous that I'm with you and Im just trying to get him off my back, and that's how it started." He said like I wouldn't understand.
"Ok now I understand." I said in a voice saying I can understand boys. "Well you need to stop fighting with him, and he needs to live with it."
We got to my house and my cousin was at the door waiting for me. I went to go run towards her, but then Cris stopped me. I was about to say 'what the heck why did you stop me?' But then I remembered I would give away my secret, so I just went with it. Then when I got closer. "What up cous'?" Then I hugged her.
"Sup'." She said back. I love my cousin she's so nice and funny. "Who's the guy?" She said raising an eyebrow. I laugh.
"He's my boyfriend, Cris. Cris meet my cousin, Caroline. Caroline meet my boyfriend, Cris." I told them. They shook hands.
"Nice to meet you." Cris said in the voice that makes me melt. Caroline saw me and giggled. I grabbed Cris's arm and got closer to him.
"Nice to meet you, too." Caroline told Cris.
"Well I better go..." Cris started
"NO!" I said quickly, then I noticed what I did. "I mean, you can't go yet." I said calmly. Everyone in the house was staring at me.
"Ok is it ok with the little lady right here?" Cris asked to Carolina.
"I'm fine with it, just give Jamie and to talk really quick." Carolina told Cris. We walked into the kitchen. "He's a keeper if you don't keep him, I'm taking him." She said. We went back out to Cris and I went up to him and stayed by him he took me in his arms and we started walking up the stairs. We all went in to my room.
"Cris is it ok if we go to the tree it's more conferrable." I asked him looking at him. He's about two feet taller then me.
"Sure, but we got to be carful." He said sweetly. We all started walking to the tree and I had Carolina climb first, then Cris, then I went up making sure I climbed like them so I wouldn't give myself away.
