CHAPTER FOURTY-TWO

I woke up to, "Please, can I, I need her!" Cris was asking someone.

"Sorry, you know he won't approve." Someone told Cris. Who are they talking about?

"I understand, what will happen to her?" I could hear the disappointment in his voice.

"Not sure, we usually don't do the changing back to human. She might be ok," I looked towards were I heard the voices came from, "or, she might die." my blood ran cold when I heard that.

There was a moment of silence. "Please, I have to, I can't live without her! I don't care about the punishment I have to have her!" He said freaking out, then ran in my room with his fangs out. "Sweetie, you want to be a vampire again?" He said coming closer to me, I nodded.

"Cris, stop!" I heard some different voice said. Cris moved so I could see who it was, it was Devone. "Don't get any closer to her." He said in his deep bossy voice. Cris turned around and took a step towards me. "Cris!" He took another step and he was pushed down by Devone.

"Cris!" I said sitting up. I felt this sharp pain but I ignored it. I got up and ran towards them. "Cris, get off of him!" I said to Devone. "Cris, you okey?" I said pushing Devone off of him. Then the pain was to much for me to ignore and I feel into blackness. Again.

"Jamie!" Cris said barely grabbing my hand. "Get off of me, I need to help her!" He said to Devone. Then I felt a short pain in my neck. I felt better, I looked around and saw Cris being carried away.

"Cris!" I said running towards Cris and the people carrying him away. Someone grabbed me and stopped me. "Cris I'll find you if it's the last thing I do!" I yelling at him and was crying.

Then I flipped the person holding me with anger. "Don't ever touch me again." I said slowly but powerfully. The person that was holding me looked shocked. Then I ran off trying to catch up with Cris
