CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE
I look out the window, and something flew out of nowhere, broke my window, and almost hit me. I staggered back and tripped on my bed and sat down.
"Jamie! Are you ok?" Cris said getting up and came over to me and checked me out.
"I'm fine, but what's that?" I asked pointing at a box on the floor. I started for it trying to see what it was.
"No, they're trying to knock us out. Don't open or even touch the box." Cris said holding out an arm, so I couldn't get pass him. "Doug, get rid of the box." Doug was almost out the door when Cris said that.
"I'm on it." Doug said running downstairs and grabbed cloth gloves. "Hold on, need to get them on." A pause of silence. "K, no one get near me while or after I get rid of the box."
Doug grabbed the box and threw it back out side. Then ran out the door and he was outside with matches. He first burnt the box then the gloves.
"It's going to be okay your safe now." He said getting up and helped me get up. I looked out the window again.
"Are you sure we're safe?" I said pointing at a bunch of vampires. Cris came up to me and looked where I was pointing.
"Doug! Hurry we got to go, look!" Cris yelled out the broken window.
Then in a flash Cris was out of my room and in my moms packing her stuff. I was packing my stuff. I called Maeve and told her to start packing her bags, then hang up without any explanation. I grabbed my stuff.
"I'll meet you at Maeve's." I said to Cris then ran out the door to find a bunch of angry vampires surrounding me. "Cris, Doug, help!" I yelled.
"No one can save you know" I heard, it sounded familiar. Then Maeve popped out of the crowd.
