CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE
they started to carry me away with Cris, Doug, and my mom.
"Cris, what's going on?" I could hear my mom say.
Cris then looked at me then back at my mom, "Not here, I'll tell you later." I could barley hear Cris say to my mom.
"Maeve, have you always been like this?" I asked her quietly.
She stared at me for awhile, then finally said, "No, I used to be human and was the lowest group all the time." she looked at me with regret in her eyes, then she looked at my mom with jealousy. "Then I was taken captive, the only way to escape was to turn into a vampire. So it was either death or being turned into a vampire. I decided to live and become a vampire, as you can see. I got away and a few months later they found me and asked me to be there leader. I said yes so I wouldn't be at the bottom of the food chain like usual, and since I've done that I haven't been the same."
"Meave, you can always change or leave." I said to her so only she and I could hear.
"It doesn't work that way, and i cant leave these fools, they will be completely lost and will give vampires identities away, it will be a mad house." Maeve said then told the other vampires to follow her and they starting to bring us to the place Maeve wanted us to be.

we are all in a dark room, no windows, one door that had guards by it, and one small light bulb that was turned off. we sat there for a while and i could here Cris explaining what was happening, but, of course, Cris didn't want to me to hear.
i realized that i haven't slept for days, so i put my head back and fell asleep. when i awoke i found the light bulb was turned on and a shadowy figure. then it walked into the light and it was Meave. i then moaned and put my head back again.
"What now?" I asked Meave. "Your royal highness." I said sarcastically.
"Shut up," she said pausing, "slave." she said slowly. everybody groaned except Meave, she was laughing evilly.
"Well, finding out that you escaped death, you be my slave forever, you will be chained up until I need you then some guard will let you out when I do need you and If you don't get to me in however it should take then I will send out some people to kill you instead." Meave said explaining everything. "Now lets get to testing."
