CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

The bell rang and Jason, Maeve, and I went to our next classes. Maeve's class was next to mine so we walked together.

"Are you okey?" She asked me, I was in thought and didn't relies it.

"Hm, ya, I'm fine. Why?" I ask looking at her confused.

"You look sad. Are you thinking ..." She started.

"Please don't finish that sentence, and no. Trying to forget." I interrupted. We got to our classes. "K, see you after school." I said waving goodbye.

"K, see ya." She said also waving. Then we both went into our classes.

After school I waited for Maeve outside, by a tree able to be seen by the doors of the school.

"So are you busy Friday?" Maeve asked while coming up to me. I looked at her confused. "So we can hang out at my or your house."

"I don't think I'm busy. I'll check." I said.

Today is a Tuesday, I have some time to ask. I'll ask ASAP.

"Do you want to come over today?" I asked her. She thought for a while.

"Sure, I'll just have to call my house when we get to your house." She said, and we started walking to my house.

We get to my house and I go to my mom sending Maeve to my room.

"Mom, my friend is over, we're going to my room." I said, questionably.

"Sure, dinner will be done in around two hours." She told me. I ran upstairs into my room, to see Maeve siting on my bed looking around my room.

"Nice room." She said noticing I was by the door.

I walked in. "Thanks. I try." I said jokingly. We both laughed. "So what do you want to do?" I asked showing her some games, "I also have video games."

She looked at me when I said that. "What kind of video games?" She asked sounding really interested.

"Um, I have mainly fighting/ shooting games." I said and she looked even more interested. "Let's go?" I asked her.

"Ya! Let's go, hurry!" She is freaking out about playing the video games.

I put in a game and we start playing it.
