That kiss had me spinning. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect kiss with a more beautiful woman. I hadn't felt what I was feeling in a long time. Not even with Amber. With her, it was all lust. I had been under the impression that it was love at first sight. But it was not.
This woman made everything better. I felt so many things when I was with her. I knew she was ready to head out. But I knew I had to act before she left. I had to kiss her. I needed that kiss.

When I broke up the kiss, I looked at her and said "I've been wanting to kiss you all day. I... you're just so beautiful. I feel so many things when I'm with you."

She looked at me, wide eyed. I could tell the kiss had an effect on her. Her breathing was heavier. Her lip gloss was now almost gone. I waited for her to say something, but she never did.

"Was that, okay?" I finally asked her.

She nodded quickly and then looked down at her hands. "I liked it," she finally said.

I let out a sigh of relief. She was okay with me kissing her. At that moment, I wanted to grab her in my arms and never let her go. I wanted to freeze time.

"I think I should probably go," she smiled. "It's getting late and it's quite a drive back home."

"Right," I smiled as I stood up with her. "Let me grab your guitar for you. I'll take it back for you."

"Thanks."

We walked in comfortable silence back to her car. I place the guitar in the back and closed the back door for her. She opened the front door of the car and then turned around to look at me. She reached in for a hug and I immediately went in for it.
"Thank you for today," she said. "I had so much fun playing with you. And thank you for not laughing at my singing."

We pulled away as I chuckled. "You can sing. You know you do. There was nothing to make fun of."

She smiled in response. But I wasn't going to let her go without another kiss. I leaned in to give her another kiss. This was the second kiss, and I was already addicted to them. To my surprise, she kissed me back. It was pure bliss.

When she finally pulled back, she said, "Good night, see you on Monday."

"Good night," I smiled back. Why the fuck didn't I ask her to stay? Even if nothing happened between us. I could have kept her for a while longer. And now it would be a whole day without seeing her.

She closed the door and glanced me another look before backing up and driving away.

That night, I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about those kisses we shared. I kept picturing her face and those lips. Those lips were so full and so fucking delicious. I wanted more. I grabbed my cell and texted her, "You are one of the most beautiful creatures ever created. Thank you for making me feel again. Can't wait to see you Monday. Have a good night."

I didn't know if she would respond but I needed to text her to let her know how I felt. I wasn't sure where this would go. But I knew that I couldn't bear for this to be a casual fling. Not with her. I wanted more. I wanted her.
Just then I heard an incoming text come in.
"I can't wait to see you, Monday. Thank you for the beautiful words...I feel the same way. Good night."

I couldn't stop smiling. I felt as if my heart was melting. Holy shit, she feels the same way. Could I survive a whole day without seeing her? I had to. I didn't want to scare her away.

I woke up a little earlier than usual. I wanted to make sure I got to the studio a little bit earlier so that I could see her. When I got to the studio, Tim was talking to a younger man. He didn't seem familiar to me, but he seemed to be famous. At least judging from the reaction of the rest of the crew. Everyone seemed excited to have him visit. But who was he?

I walked towards them to say good morning before heading out to see Jennifer. As I got closer, I heard the young man ask, "Is Jen still in her trailer? I cannot wait to see her."

I felt a tinge of jealousy in the pit of my stomach. Who the hell was he? And why was he so excited to see Jennifer? I continued to walk towards them when Tim turned around and said, "there he is. Johnny, come meet our new friend."

Friend?

"This is Lin-Manuel Miranda," Tim said introducing me to the young man. "He's Jennifer's long-time friend and co-producer to most of his musicals."

I wasn't too familiar with his work. But I have heard of him before. I was suddenly relieved. "Nice to meet you, brother," I said shaking his hand.

"It's an honor," he smiled back. "I'm a huge fan of yours."
