"I know," I nodded, looking at Javier.
I knew she was all those things. I knew that my lust had gotten the best of me. The moment I had laid eyes on her, I was gone. I knew I liked her without knowing her. But once I got to know her, she was perfect. And that terrified me. I had thought the same thing about...

"Look, man," Javier said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "I want the best for you and for her. You two are adorable together. And I love both of you. All I'm saying is just take it easy. Go slow."

I nodded and smiled. At least he wasn't judging my relationship with her. "Thank you, man."

We said our good night and I walked back to my trailer to grab my things. I closed my trailer and said goodnight to a couple of people from the crew and was about to head home.

"Johnny," I heard Tim call from behind.

I turned around and saw him walking towards me. "I thought you went home."

"I had a couple of things I had to finish," he said holding on to his bag. "I wanted to talk to you. Do you have a couple of minutes?"

"Sure," I said.

"Let's go back to my trailer," he said.

We walked back to his trailer, and he offered me a cup of coffee. It had been a cold night. I accepted the offer and sat down.

"This is Jen's favorite," he said as handed me my cup.

"Ah," I smiled. "The famous Armenian coffee she loves so much."

"It's the best," he said.

And it really was. It was not bitter. And it was smooth. I smiled looking down at my cup. Of course, she would have great taste even when it came to coffee. I wondered if she had gotten home by now. What was she doing? Was she thinking about me?

"I actually wanted to talk to you about Jen," Tim said sitting next to me.

Shit. Here we go.

"What about her?" I asked cautiously.

"I know you and her have a thing going," he began. "I've seen you two sneaking away."

People had noticed. Noted.

I didn't respond, I just nodded and looked at him. Where was this conversation going? Was it going to be another conversation warning me about being careful with her? I was about to find out.

"Listen man," he said clearing his throat. "It's none of my business what you do with your life. But she is the producer of this movie and you're the lead."

I gave him a confused look but remained quiet. I nodded as if to say, continue.

"I guess where I'm getting at," he said moving his hands around. I could tell he was nervous. "I don't want your relationship to affect the production of this movie."

"Why would it affect it?" I asked.

"I'm just gonna go for it," he said with a heavy sigh. "Are you serious about her? Or is this some sort of fling?"

I was not going to lie. I was taken aback by his question. He was a lot more direct than Javier had been.

"I'm...serious about her," I responded.

He looked at me for a couple of seconds before finally asking, "Have you asked her to be your girlfriend?"

"Not yet," I said finally realizing where he was going with this.

"Listen," he said with a nod. "I know you like her. And I know she likes you. But I am worried that the relationship will not work."

"Why wouldn't it?" I asked with a hint of annoyance in my voice. Now it was my turn to get defensive.
