A/n: I'm terribly sorry about what happen the other day. XD I accidentally clicked "publish" instead of "Save & Preview." The new editing and writing settings are confusing as hell. XD Again, sorry about that.
It was already Saturday and Haru hasn't showed up nor even give Kei a reassuring call. Kei was hell worried about Haru. The days that passed was very slow for her. She can't help being distressed about Haru not being by her side. She was sending messages to Haru from time to time. She even tried calling him but no avail.
She glanced at her phone for the umpteenth time. Seeing her inbox empty made her sigh. She put her phone down on the table and even slam her head next to it. Megumi just continue to watch her worried friend sulk. Currently, they are at Megumi's house. Shiro and her decided to teach Kei all the lessons she missed. Well, actually, the plan was suppose to be teaching both Kei and Haru. But since, the prince isn't around, they'll just teach Kei, for now.
Her grades were falling even though she just missed three days of schooling. But it can't be helped because the week the two love birds was absent, it was the last week before midterm week. They have to help the both of them to catch up with the tests to be given on Monday. Kei has to focus on studying but even though she wants to, she can't. Her head was filled with Haru and where the hell he is. Plus, she hasn't heard anything about Haru in the past few days.
Megumi pat her friend on the shoulder and the girl just glance at her, softly.
"He's going to be alright." She tried to comfort her but Kei just nodded. These past few days, Megumi was trying to cheer her up or giving her the same reassuring advice that Haru will be okay but unfortunately, Megumi would just receive the same nod.
Kei tried reading her Japanese history book but she just ended up flipping the pages. Megumi watched her in the corner of her eye and beads of water were forming on Kei's eyelids. She stood up slowly to avoid startling her sad friend.
"I'm going down for a bit. I'm just gonna help Shiro." she went out of the room, closing the door behind her quietly as possible. When Megumi left, Kei stopped flipping the leaves of her book and sat on Megumi's bed. Her room was really nice. Even though Megumi doesn't show her girly side, her room says a lot. Bright yellow painted the walls with a baby blue stripes. Her bed on the right side of the room; beside it is a small table with a blue table lamp. Right next to her door was a medium sized flat screen television. At the center was the small round table where they were studying. And Megumi's study table was at the left corner in front of a window and next to it is a three-storey bookshelf full of books.
"Girly, huh?" She chuckled. She slowly picked up her phone and stared at Haru's mobile number. She exhaled and press the call button. After several rings, Haru wasn't picking up.
"Hello! Haru here! Sorry I can't pick up right now. Kinda busy! Please just leave a message." The beeping sound started and Kei just decided to leave - again - another message.
"Haru-kun. I might sound annoying. But please call or message me. I just want to know if you're okay." then she wiped the small tears on her eyelids.
Megumi went down the stairs and go inside the kitchen. She approached Shiro who was currently preparing their meal.
"I'm surprised. You aren't shy around mom anymore." She glanced at the food and decided to go get some plates and utensils.
"Well, your mom is really nice and she doesn't make feel uncomfortable." He faced Megumi and added, "She even let me borrow her pink apron." Then he grinned playfully. Megumi laughed at the outfit her boyfriend was wearing.
"And you agreed?" She continues to laugh. Shiro rolled his eyes and went back to his business. "It's not like I have a choice! And I don't want to get my clothes all dirty." He pouted. She placed the plates on the table and leaned on the counter near him and said, "Kei is uneasy again."
