A/N: Hey all! Hope that you're having a great week.
I'm back to school now so that means it's going to be annoying to get a chapter out each week. But I do it anyway because...writing is fun.
This chapter isn't as long as usual sorry. It's more of a filler as well. I try not to do these too often.
Dedicated to Damonsalvatoreislife. Thanks for reading my story! Appreciate it so much c:
Enjoy ~

Grace's POV
"Mum will you please clam down?" I asked my mother for probably the 17th time this morning.
She was running around the house like a headless chicken. For no reason as well.
As far as I knew, no one was having a party today, she had no meetings for any, so she should be all stress free.
"I can't calm down Grace. I need to find the god damn cinnamon." My mum told me, still going through every cupboard in the kitchen. She paused then looked back at me, "did you move it?"
"What? No." I told her, confused.
"Jake!" She yelled out. "Did you move the cinnamon?"
I heard the thumping of running footsteps and turned to see Jake running into the kitchen. I don't know what even came over me, but as he came closer I couldn't help but stare at him.
He wasn't wearing a shirt.
He's never worn a shirt to bed unless it's cold so I don't know why this was affecting me so much. It's just a guy...in only sweatpants...with messy hair...
Oh who was I kidding?
"Sorry what was that?" He asked my mum.
"Have you seen the cinnamon?" She repeated.
"No." Jake looked over at me funny. I just shrugged.
"How am I supposed to make apple crumble without cinnamon?" She asked, going back to the cupboards.
"Mum you do not need to make apple crumble right now." I told her.
"It's for dessert tonight though." She complained.
"We can have ice cream?" I suggested.
"Or nothing?" Jake laughed at me.
"But he likes apples." She went on.
"He?" Jake and I both asked.
Do I have some long lost twin brother?
"Mitch."
"You invited him over for dinner?" Jake asked.
"It's about time you met him." She told us, nervously.
"You really like him?" I asked.
"He's sweet. Actually cares about me."
"Sounds like a keeper." Jake smiled.
How does my mum get a cute boyfriend? She's over 20 years older than me. That's so unfair.
I guess though she has been waiting for longer. She's done more to deserve someone like Mitch. It'll make her happy. If it makes her happy, then it makes me happy too.
"Need me to go get some things for tonight?" I asked her.
Maybe she'll stop stressing then.
"That'd be great. Hang on, I'll write you a list of groceries I need." She rushed over to her writing pad and jotted down some ingredients.
