Grace's POV
The next week at school seemed to go on forever.
Now don't get me wrong, I love school. Not because I have to go through torturous hours of maths, but because I actually get to see my friends more often there.
My best friend Jake, whom I'm still mad with, lives with me so of course I see him all the time, and Harley invites herself over a lot. That unfortunately means I have to see them a lot. There's people like Chase and Chris who I seem to see more at school though.
Chris is my boyfriend so I do see him quite a bit. I almost feel annoying if I keep asking to hang out with him so school gives me an excuse to just always hang out with him. He's a total cutie though and is always texting me so if he wanted he could always ask.
With Chase, he's my friend but not as close as the others. I did see a lot of him at school though.
Especially this week.
Why this week you may ask?
Well you see, Harley and Jake are determined to get Chase to admit his feelings about Harley. Some people are just so irritating. If you like someone, go tell them before they're taken. You can't wait around forever.
Let me give you a run-down of the events of this week:
Monday
Jake and I had walked to school together this morning. I decided to put aside the fight for now to help out Harley. It was nice of him to do this for her, even if Chase would hurt him.
I was still mad at him though.
We spent the duration of the walk talking about all the assignments and homework we had been given for this week. It was a LOT. Luckily for us, we didn't procrastinate... too much.
By the time we arrived at the school gates, Harley was standing there waiting for us with Chase. She was dressed up a bit more than usual today. Well, as much as you can be to still stay in the school uniform.
Her blonde hair was curled and half was tied up, out of her face. She had some small gold hoop earrings in with little purple crystals in it, her favourite Marc Jacobs watch on, and some light make up on.
She looked beautiful as always.
I gave Jake a nudge and he looked down at me, giving my forehead a light kiss before walking over to Harley.
The look on Chase's face was absolutely priceless at what Jake did. I couldn't help but cover my mouth as I tried to hide my laugh as his eyes almost bludged out of its socket.
Jake walked straight up to Harley, ignoring Chase's "hey man" and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close to give her a light kiss.
"Hey babe." He smiled at her. I could feel my stomach involuntarily clench at his words. Jeez, I needed to find Chris.
