Update: Over 2.63K reads, 675 votes, and 220 comments.... YAAAAAY :D

All banners, covers, etc. are appreciated greatly and will be posted either as my actual cover (if I find the picture for the one I have now) or just in the chapter c:

So I'm back at school now... which probably means later updates but on the weekends (especially Friday nights) I'll be writing little bits and pieces of a chapter and sending it to my editors. But I really will try to update.

I don't even know then to bother with a "20 votes for next chapter" but... wink, nudge, that would be great too :P

Dedicated to thepurplerose because she's fabulous c; and I'm obsessed with her stories<3 mainly 'The Teddy Bear Agreement' so go check it out if you haven't already!

Grace's POV

It's been a couple of weeks now and I've been trying to avoid Jake like the plague. I don't know what came over me but every time we got remotely close, I could feel my cheeks heating up because all I could picture in my head was Jake holding me close and leaning forward to kiss me.

I didn't want to ruin my friendship with him though. Besides, I had Chris. Chris was more... boyfriend material I guess. Jake was more of a best friend. I couldn't imagine being all couple-like with Jake.

Yes you can.

Chris and I always cuddled when we were watching movies on his couch.

You already cuddle with Jake.

Chris holds my hands, and always makes me laugh and smile by whispering cute things into my ear.

And Jake doesn't?

Okay shut up conscious. I just can't hurt Chris like this. I don't even like Jake the same way I like Chris. I also need both of them in my life. If Jake and I are best friends and Chris is my boyfriend, then I have my two favourite guys with me all the time. No feelings hurt for anyone.

I still needed to tell Chris about what happened between Jake and I. I didn't cheat on him, but I felt like I did. He deserves to know but I don't know what to say. I can't be all 'oh hey Chris, Jake and I almost kissed two weeks ago but we didn't and nothing is going on but I felt like I needed to tell you.' Yeah, no.

Either way, I was going to go see Chris today after school. Which I would have to leave for soon if I didn't want to be late.

"Grace, breakfast is ready!" My mum called out to me.

I knew I smelt waffles.

"I'll be there in a second." I called back down to her.

Quickly chucking on some school clothes, I rushed over to the dining table where Jake and my mum were already eating their waffles.

Oh my gosh, she put ice cream on them too? Mum, I love you.

I picked up the ice cream scoop and greedily scooped a giant spoonful of ice cream onto my two waffles.

Yum yum yum.

And now some strawberries...

"I don't know where you put all that food Grace." My mum shook her head at me, but I could see the smile she tried to hide.

"It goes to my stomach mum. Duh." I joked. Though it wasn't really a joke I guess seeing the food does go to your stomach.

We finished up our breakfast and put the dishes in the sink a few minutes later. I ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth then I grabbed my school bag and was out the door, walking to school.
