A/N: Sorry for the sucky chapter but vote for it anyway?
Grace's POV
I snuggled into my bed for a little longer, trying to keep as much warmth to myself as I could. Jeez this bed was hard... I would have to get a new mattress.
Although I swear it wasn't like this yesterday, unless I have textbooks on my bed from studying perhaps. Who studies on a Saturday anyway? Not me.
I could feel my bed pulling me tighter towards it. That was weird. Since when did beds have arms?
Opening one of my eyes slowly, I saw skin. Oh my gosh my bed was a monster. I'm going to die. This is it. It's planning to strangle me alive and then use my bones as the bed frame and my blood as the sheets.
Then I heard a groaning noise and I was pulled even closer to the monster. It's probably hungry. I only have a few moments to escape.
"Gracie..." It mumbled. It knows my name too. This really isn't good.
I leaned my head back and I saw brown tousled hair. Pausing my movements, I looked around slightly and saw that I was in fact on the couch with Jake. We were in the living room and I saw my mum lying on the couch beside us.
Everyone must have fallen asleep last night when we were playing Monopoly. That game takes way too long to finish.
"Stay." Jake mumbled again. Was he dreaming?
Deciding to get off him, I tried to sit up but he just held onto me tighter. I could easily roll off the couch as he wasn't blocking the way but he didn't seem like he would let me go. Next plan then I guess. I moved my hands to my back and tried to move his hands away but I froze when he lightly kissed my collarbone.
"I love you..." What could he be dreaming about? I don't understand how people move and talk in their dreams too. It's kind of creepy.
WAIT. What if there was someone he did love? Yes! I could finally find him a girlfriend. Maybe he would be happy. Or even happier. I just have to get him to tell me who...
"Jakey." I whispered to him and ran my fingers through his hair, pushing it back from his forehead.
I think I have an obsession with the softness of his hair. We use the same shampoo and conditioner too and my hair isn't like that.
Jake scrunched his eyes together and yawned before opening his eyes and smiling down at me.
"Hey." He whispered, his voice slightly husky. I wondered what Chris sounded like with that voice; that morning voice that everyone goes on about. It did sound kind of... hot I guess.
"Hi." I smiled at him.
"Who's that person you love?" I asked him before he forgot his dream. He looked at me confused.
"Who?" His voice slightly less husky now.
"In your dream." Jake looked slightly shocked before he must've realised he said something in his sleep.
"What did I do this time?" He groaned.
"I love you." I said dramatically and leaned down to kiss his collarbone like he did to me.
I felt him freeze up a little when I did that and I tried not to laugh.
"Oh my god." He whined and hid his face in my neck.
"Please tell me it was some girl and not my mum because I don't know how I would feel about that." I laughed. Jake just leaned his head back and glared at me.
"Okay come on. Who is it? I'll talk to her and see what happens. Of course without her knowing you love her." I told him, still smiling. I don't think I had stopped since Friday yet.
