I sat in the living room of my house holding a crystal square half spiral glass filled with bourbon, on the table was the gun my father owned taken apart with the cleaning kit I had for it not far away.

It might have seemed weird to certain people that this is what I had chosen to be doing at twelve o'clock at night but I didn't really care.

Setting down my glass I began to assemble the weapon once I had finished cleaning it, before cocking the gun and looking inside to be sure it is clear enough to fire.

Perfect.

I then stood and walked away towards my office before putting it away and walking back into the living room and out to the patio of my house where I could look out over the Atlantic Ocean.

Pushing open the large sliding pane doors I walked over to the edge of the patio and leaned on the glass railing while still cradling my glass.

My mind had the weird ability to think of things I normally wouldn't and for some reason it was of a dream I had a few nights ago of the back of a brunette girl. I never got to see her face but for some reason I felt like she was important, and in it she stood in the rain though I never got any closer then the doorway.

Why I had dreamt of a girl I didn't know or could see yet felt so drawn to through a dream was odd for me, yet the image felt comforting.

Clearing my mind I finished the last of what was in my glass before walking back inside and shutting the door before going upstairs to climb into bed.

Closing my door I undressed discarding all of what I had been wearing into a laundry basket before walking into my bathroom to shower and clean myself of my daily sins which we all knew I had.

Another thing my mind was good at doing though I hated it was making me wish that the water was blood, my own specifically rolling into the drain and ridding me of a life I didn't like.

I felt numb to everything around me and I wouldn't be surprised if all the good things disappeared one day like all the good in my life did. The boys stayed but that's for different reasons, and even then there are days I wonder why they stand by me.

Stepping out of the shower I dried off and walked to my bed falling onto it before getting under the blanket and allowing sleep to take me though I wondered what kinds of horrors awaited me here in the shadowy abyss of my mind.

The following morning I woke up and went about my morning routine before putting on black pant, pullover and black blazer.

Heading downstairs I made myself a shake and drank the entirety of it before deciding I'd go to the Harrington Mansion to see what kind of chaos the boys had gotten up to last night.

Pulling open the key drawer I retrieved the key for my LaFerrari before heading out down to the garage.

Crossing the concrete floor to the car I lifted the door and slid inside before starting the current flagship vehicle in my garage.

I say current because I had an entire line up that was supposed to arrive within the next few months.

Then I'd be the flashiest prick on this street.

Driving off towards my best friends home I looked around at all the other homes that were built around Southampton.

When I got to Nico's home I parked behind his car and got out before walking to the door and knocking to be polite.

A moment later the door opened and I was met by Mia who let me into the wooden floored entryway of the home that screamed wealth, and high class. I actually doubted there was a single ornament or finish in this home that didn't cost at least a million dollars.
