I stood on the foredeck of the Skoteino a few miles from Monaco staring at the coastal city as my helicopter sat on the front of the yacht. I had quickly come to the point that I didn't care how people viewed me. I was sitting on a six hundred forty foot palace on the water and at the end of the day I got this money from a family business I was working on reinventing, and had been for the past year.
Sixty billion dollars in the account nothing I regret.
I may have viewed it as my parents money for the most part but at the same time everything I had since I'd started reinventing. I had plans all I had to do was make sure my parents company didn't go under. So despite the humility I had, that wouldn't be leaving if I had made Winters Group myself from square one which is sort of the plan anyways but right now I'm just the maintainer, not CEO.
Taking a sip from the lime sparkling water I held I saw Elijah walking towards me without his blazer though I gave him permission to not be in a full suit.
"Adrian, I need to speak to you" he says and I stand straight before turning to him.
"Your designer from Milan is supposed to be at the penthouse in half an hour the plane just landed with the whole team".
"Thank you Elijah, get Steph please, along with perhaps the Huracan Spyder for my transport, I need to go put on something more appropriate" I say looking down at my outfit that I'd be better to attribute to sailing, not a meeting with my designer who I'd rather didn't know about my yacht.
"Yes sir" Elijah replies with a nod as I begin to walk off, before turning back around.
"Oh and don't tell them about the garage they're using public entrance to Odeon Tower" I call before walking off to my room where I slipped back inside making my way to the room and changing into black single seam trousers, and a grey silk button up.
Leaving my room I made my way back to the foredeck where I found the helicopter primed and ready with Stephanie in the driving seat before I got in the passenger area.
"Welcome aboard Mr. Winters" she calls back to me as Elijah shuts the door to the helicopter before getting in beside my pilot a moment later.
"Thank you Stephanie, that's for doing this on short notice" I say looking out of the window as the aircraft lifted and headed off to the pier where my PPO's would be heading towards at the same moment, though it was a quick minute ride back to Monaco since Steph didn't fly my helicopter's that fast on casual flight close to the water, besides that was the whole plan when here.
I'd also asked for it because of the sheer amount of people that used helicopters instead of cars to go from their yachts back to their penthouses, to the helipads, or even to do what I was doing which by all accounts I probably shouldn't however I didn't really care and no one was going to stop me. Monaco's entire economy came from people like me who came here for vacation and or residence through most of the year.
When the helicopter got to the shore, Stephanie curved the helicopter down and fifty feet from where my Huracan sat while my PPO's got into the two sedan's that accompanied the transfer for my vehicles.
Elijah had explained it to me as well, the military tactical approach to defending me had always gone well I also wasn't exactly opposed to it since it always meant I could be reminded that my security had some of the best protective and offensive strategies in the world. Even if my dumb ass often went places alone, and not a single one of my cars were bullet or bomb proof.
That would probably change one day when the need arose but until then I'd rather be naïve to the possibility of it happening.
Maybe I can just live like this for my whole life. If I'm lucky.
