Olivia ThorneI was out walking through the snow at night dressed tightly in a coat that was fuzzy on the inside and I had been clutching my hand with to keep them warm even though I wore gloves.
Demetri had wanted to meet up and though I didn't really want to I was more worried about being beaten again if I didn't go.
My body then got wracked by a shiver and whether it was because of me choosing to wear leggings or that I could see Demetri's building I didn't know but either way they both gave me reason to turn around but Demteri hitting me flashed through my mind and I didn't want to disappoint him.
Getting to the sidewalk I noticed the Camaro and varying other cars I knew weren't normally there.
Must be busy for Christmas.
Walking up the steps I stomped off the snow on my boots before getting to the elevator and stepped inside before pressing the button to Demetri's floor.
The whole ride up I could feel each movement of my heart as if exaggerated.
Left side, right side, left side, right side. Over and over again.
The elevators ping alerts me to arriving and the doors opened before I made my way quickly to the apartment where Demetri waited.
Knocking I stood waiting before the door opened and there he stood dressed in jeans and a hoodie covering his messy hair.
"Come in" he says moving out of the way and when he does I see about six other people sitting in the room many drinking or smoking, one wasn't but sat none the less tossing a coin in the air that he caught every few seconds.
Turning away I took off my coat hanging it in the closet before walking into the main area of the loft.
"Whose this Demetri?" they all ask having seen me.
"Guys this is my girlfriend Olivia" Demetri says though the stiffness of my name wasn't lost on me.
Neither was the fact all of them seemed dangerous and intimidating.
"Hey, what did Demetri do to get a pretty girl like you?".
"Lay off his girl Jared" the one tossing the coin in the air says.
"You go home with a girl a week Tristan" the one boy, Jared says.
"Oh fuck off".
"All of you quiet down, I don't want an eviction notice" Demetri bellows.
"Sorry" Jared says and Tristan soon echos.
"Also why isn't he here?" another guys says.
"Niklaus he's busy tonight, and you know what if the boss is busy the boss is busy".
"Boss?" I puzzle and I see all of the four other people in the room exchange looks while Demetri breathes in deeply.
"Shit" he mutters sharply.
"Nickname we give the sort of leader for our group, he occasionally disappears but none of us question him. Best for all of us" Demetri explains while casting a look to Niklaus which made me think of The Originals but the guy in front of me was clearly slavic by some degree.
"Hey I'm just asking, considering we all met your girlfriend" Niklaus says leaning forward in his spot.
"If there is someone who I'd rather not meet him it's her".
"Worried she'll like being tied up" Tristan smirks.
What the hell.
Demetri's jaw clenched.
