My life is constantly on travel and do. If anyone looked at what my life was like they'd realize that I travel a lot. One house to another, lunches at fancy restaurants, hit the weekend go on the yacht, long breaks an exclusive destination, buy something expensive, go home, repeat. I lived life like this mostly because I wanted to see as much of the world as I possibly could so doing it this way by travelling all the time made that easier.
After a few days in Waccabuc I'd come back to New York though it wasn't going to be long at all since I'd barely made it back and decided that being stuck in my house for five weeks, and also the eight months of school previous to that that I didn't want to be in this city anymore. So doing the only thing I knew I went to the airport where Aria was waiting for me.
I'd promised to go to LA with her, and well she wanted to go home for one reason or another I didn't know though if I had to guess it would hopefully be her father finally coming clean to his record of infidelity towards his wife, and the lack of actual common attention that Aria was continually deprived of by him.
I may respect Christian for the fact that he could run a successful business but he like my own father neglected his family that was where the similarities stopped. I could respect my father because of what he achieved, what he had represented during his tumultuous yet efficient reign as the families most respected member. He'd changed what the family was viewed as, and he welcomed in the idea of non-old money being accepted into the Winters umbrella.
No the St. Laurent's weren't broke but they didn't have millions, let alone billions.
Everyone before Angelina St. Laurent was a millionaire and then all of a sudden that changed, and it gave me a sense of warmth knowing that my father had escaped the veiled perception of what was worthy to be in the family. I didn't like the idea of combining money, it was a dumb concept. People that fit together, would regardless of class.
The Maybach pulled around to stop in front of my gleaming jet. Aria sat beside me staring at it and looking rather happy that I'd agreed to go to Los Angeles for a while. I hadn't been unaware that she wanted me to either we'd talked about it many times before just it was now finally happening.
"I forget there are leagues within the billionaire class a little to often to be friends with you Adrian Winters" Aria says and I laugh before getting out of the back of the car and walking up towards the steps where Stephanie was waiting.
"Good afternoon Steph" I say giving her a nod before walking over to my seat soon followed by Aria who took the corrospoding seat just one over, and it made me wonder something.
"Are you plane sick Aria, what I mean is does it make you throw up if you go on one?" I muse the idea being slightly intriguing to me.
"Yes, and the heights" she replies and I nod.
"Just look in the distance if you look outside it won't seem so high" I recommend before the engines whir before we were pulled towards the runways of JFK International. I liked planes, then again I also owned one and personally flew a helicopter when I decided I wanted to have a different way of getting to Waccabuc, or One57.
"Fair enough, I sleep through flight on purpose" Aria answers before the plane began to pick up speed and began to lift off of the ground up into the air.
As the aircraft levelled I stood and walked off towards the back of the plane where my bedroom was, I wanted to have a shower and get rid of the tension that was sitting in my shoulders and back.
Punching something to relieve it would be pretty nice right about now, but I don't have a boxing gym on my private jet.
Getting into the master bedroom I pushed the door shut to the bathroom and got into the shower while the water ran down my back practically making the clenched muscles let go and provided me with a lot of relief from the relaxation that this was providing me. The funny part was I was sixteen and had both occasional angina attacks, and back pain from the amount of pressure I carried in the past two months.
