Driving away from the graveyard I began making my way towards Thornbrook. The whole way I could see the school as it stood out along the bank of Manhattan.
If people knew the reality of private schools they'd all never want to be a rich kid. Most of us all attended Thornbrook to get our parents off our backs.
We all partied to find freedom one day of the week yet even when I was young I never could escape from the expectation.
How did we all fall so far from grace.
Pulling back into Midtown Manhattan, I began making my way to Thornbrook until I got to the light that led to the school.
The rain was practically beating dents into my car, or at least trying. It was a haze of water that my windshield wipers almost couldn't keep pace with.
Turning I drove slowly into the gates of the school that I swore immediately assumed any highly expensive all black car was mine.
Made it funny whenever paparazzi had battling pictures of 'my' car on the same night. Most times it was just some other person with an all black car.
Idiots, did they never wonder why I may have done that.
My friends found it just as funny as I did that I just so happened to pick one of the most common colours for my vehicles.
Rounding into the student lot I parked and slipped out of the car before shutting the door and walking towards the school.
The great thing about rain is that no one sits outside any longer then they have to, so I didn't have to worry about pushing people out of the way.
Oh wait my mere presence gives me space.
Stepping through the doors of the school two staff walked over to me.
"We're drying all students coats" they said and I removed my jacket after taking the car keys and my phone out of the pocket.
"Just call me down to the office when it's done being dried, also that's Burberry silk please don't ruin it" I say giving a polite yet warning smile as I walked off and readopted my stoic expression.
People stared at me and I wondered what was so interesting before casting glares towards them as I headed up to my classes so I could do all of them in the secret room. Though Gym I'd go to just the rest of my classes held people and I wasn't wanting that.
Getting to Mrs. Raymond's class I found that we were doing a whole unit in a week but it was simple stuff so I just took it and walked off thanking her.
Collecting the work for the rest of my classes for the day I began walking up to the library before slipping up to the second floor and over to the encyclopedias before pulling the level and disappearing inside the room.
I always found it funny that no one ever noticed me and Nico vanish whenever we went over here through freshman year while renovating this room. Then again the librarians never came up here that often.
There was also never actual plans that showed this room was here so our hidden room made Thornbrook all the more exclusive.
Doesn't take magic to have hidden rooms.
Walking over to the couch I set all my stuff down and began going through the formulas finding them to be rather easy.
Then again math was easy because I could self teach myself. Schools wouldn't like that but I paid my own six figure tuition anyone who had a problem with that could fuck off.
When they have my bank account they can judge.
As I finished the Pre Calc I began working through my Chemistry unit stuff.
