Adrian Winters

Walking out of my house I felt peaceful today especially after the shit show that was the past few weeks of house arrest. I'd gone out the other day but aside from that I had mostly made plans with Nico and Kate to go to Waccabuc this weekend.

Getting down to the garage while spinning the key for my Brabus I opened the garage doors and crossed the room before unlocking the vehicle and opened the door stepping up onto the running board and slipping into the drivers seat.

Changing the red lights to plain white one's I started the vehicle, and pull the door shut with a soft click before driving out of the garage. Pressing the button for the doors I watched them shut as I coasted to the gate of my property.

As I cruised through the Hamptons I listened to classic 90s Rap while tapping the steering wheel on my way to the Harrington Mansion.

Spotting the white and black home through the tall hedges and gardens that they surrounded their home in I slowed and pulled into the gate to see Nico push one of his bags down the stairs to the driveway so he could lock the front door.

Parking I got out of the Brabus and walked over to my friend.

"Adrian why did you pick the tallest vehicle in your collection to go to Waccabuc Lake in?".

"Because I like it, and it's one of my favourites" I reply watching him push his two bags into the back of the SUV before getting in on the passenger side of the vehicle.

When I got back in he pocketing his phone, and slipped on his own sunglasses before I drove out of the motor court and out onto the roads of the Hamptons towards New York City where we'd be stopping once more to pick up my sister who had special packed knowing that Waccabuc was where we were going.

The whole drive there however Nico and I remained in silence mostly focusing on the music as we had often done on trips together long before we could drive.

He was my brother in a sense, I grew up with him, argued with him, fought beside him, defended him, supported him. Same as he had done with me. I didn't believe that blood made a family, people earned to be in ones life, and the boys had all definitely done that. They were my brothers, same as Mia was like a sister to all of us aside from Hunter but that wasn't something Nico knew or needed to know.

We both shared the family protectiveness trait so it was likely best that he didn't know about that for a while, no matter how clear it was.

An hour later I pulled up outside of the Midtown Ritz-Carlton and leaned in the window sill as my sister walked out to the vehicle and got in.

"The large black Mercedes blasting 5FDP was a clear indicator you were here" she remarks and I smirk before turning up the music slightly as I rejoined traffic and sped off along the streets towards Northern Central New York state.

"That's your brothers style" Nico says and I shrug because he's not wrong, I typically do the all black style very well though I also look like I hate everyone and everything most of the time too.

"He has black air force energy" Kate laughs and I shake my head knowing the irony of that.

And I own several pairs of black Air Forces.

Leaving the city half an hour later I began making my way through the forest towards the lake that all of us had so many memories at though I knew for a fact that I'd likely hide in my room once there just so I could change before likely convincing Kate, and Nico to go out on the lake.

Pulling down the road I coasted to the gate of my house and pulled in using the automatic sensor. Well I say automatic it reads license plates and if it checks out one is let in.
