People claim that
Love and Lust
must be friends.
But I know
they're secret lovers.
Always intertwined,
yet hiding
from the world.
Love is hopeful that
all she will ever need is Lust
and no one
else.
Love wants to grow old,
and thinks Lust will follow.
But Lust is
distrustful of Love.
Lust doesn't want to be loved
by Love.
Not because she doesn't think she doesn't deserve love,
but because Lust
simply doesn't want
Love.
Lust is fine being alone.
Lust is enough.
Lust can love,
very deeply
in fact.
But she doesn't love
Love.
love isn't enough.
