I Prefer:

The word
infatuation.
So much better than
obsession
(which to me
carries a connotation of
neurosis).
I prefer the word
dependence.
A clinical term
associated with
a clinical environment
and now
with
a clinical indifference.
While I may be temporarily
preoccupied with
the space you hold on earth
and in my head,
it is fleeting.
In layman's terms:
I was in my fucking feels,
and now
I don't give a shit,

until tomorrow that is.
