Ch. 14 Dad's Protection Plan

Hey guys! Ch.14 here we go! Let's start!!

[Here is a side note - this chapter is about Zach and Kano's reaction to what Naomi's dad said to them.]

Chapter 14: Dad's Protection Plan

Zach's POV

We clean up and sit on the couch. Right as we are about to resume the episode, a knock is heard at the door Naomi gets up and walks over to the door..

And She opens it...

"Who's at the door Nao?" I say as I try to see who is at the door.

"Naomi are you alright!?" Kano says doing the same things as me.

"Dad?" She says.

Her body is shaking slightly.

"I'm home sweetie! I'm sorry I left for so long. They wanted to make sure that I was sober and drug-free before I left." He says with a smile. He them looks at Nao from top to bottom and exclaims "Where are your arm crutches?!".

"Oh I don't need them.." She pauses and then continues "It's all because of these guys! They really helped me out!" She says and smiles and turns back to her father. Who is just intently staring at her.

"We don't do that dad!" She yelled embarrassed.

He laughs and says "Good! My baby doesn't need some bad boy!"

"Oi! We are not bad boys!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah we are at the top of the class and the track team!" Kano adds.

"Oh... Your are now.. Okay." He says as he sets his stuff down and walks towards us he bends down and the says "You better not hurt my daughter or I swear to god. She won't be the only one that is hurt. She is my angel. She is mine. Until I say otherwise. You hear me. Just because you guys are the top of the class and sports team doesn't mean you are good boys. I know I was just like you when I was younger. So don't slip up and break her heart or I will break you." He says just staring at us intently.

"Okay good!" He says as he brushes off his hands and walks into the kitchen.

"What the hell?! Damn is he scary...." I think to myself.

"Something smells really good!" He says as he opens the refrigerator. He then takes out the container of ziti and opens it and puts some on his plate and heats it up. He eats it and then asks "who made this? Naomi did you make this?"

"No I didn't Zach's mom did." Nao says as She point to me.

"Oh tell your mom she is an amazing cook!" He exclaimed and puts another mouth full of ziti in his mouth.

"Shouldn't you boys be getting home it's pretty late." He says as he eats.

"Um yeah.. I guess so. We will see you tomorrow Nao!" I says as I gets up and nudge Kano.

Kano gets up and walks directly to Nao and puts his hand on her shoulder and whispers something in her ear. he also puts something in her hand. He breaks away from her and says goodbye and walks out the door before me.

Kano's POV

I get up and walk directly to Naomi and put my hand on her shoulder and whispers in her ear "If you need anything please don't be afraid to talk to me about it. I will do what I can to help." I say the place a piece of paper in her hand and she puts it in her pocket. "That's my number text me anytime." I say and then breaks away and say goodbye and I walk out the door.
