Ch. 46 Now you know

Kano's POV

I didn't get any sleep. Naomi please be at school today... please... I can explain everything to you..

I got up and got dressed. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs where I saw my mother watching the news. "Oh my goodness.." she huffed.

"We are currently looking into this now but last night in our city park and young girl was taken to the hospital for serious head trauma... luckily thanks to a brave young man and a few brave people that girl is now resting well in the hospital... We will keep you updated on her progress. We are currently not allowed to release any names but we hope that you keep the young girl in your prayers and thoughts... back to you Janice."

"Such a tragic thing. I hope she is rested well... and makes a swift recovery.. from what he know police will be taking a look into this case." She paused. "In other news...."

"Mom?" I called out to her.

"Yes Kano?" She asked me as he turned around.

"I'm ready for school." I said. That news cast set me off a bit... I was there yesterday... "can I have my phone?" I asked.

"Um... yes only for school." She said to me as she handed me my phone..

I grabbed it and turned it on.. thankfully it was charged. I opened my phone and saw tons of text messages from Rebecca and my mom saw them too.

She crossed her arms. "What are you going to do?" She said to me.

"Delete them." I answered as I went to the text messaging app and deleted the message chat..

"Good.. let's getting going to school shall we?" She said as she grabbed her keys and started out the door. "We are early maybe we can stop at Dunkin?" She asked.

"Okay mom," I said as I followed her.

We drive to school and stop for dunking donuts in the way to school. We pulled up to the school and I pulled out me phone. 45 minutes early.

Zach doesn't even come to school this early.

I walked into school and see the people that are waiting for school to start. It was odd.. I'm nervous... I want to see Naomi... now.

Zach's POV

No response from Naomi.. none what so ever... I want to know if she is okay... I need to know if she's okay.. her dad is out of control... and only
God know how Naomi is and how she is doing.

I bet If kano got wind of this he wouldn't even care. He'd just go to Rebecca because she is available.

My mom and I are driving to her house once more. We park the car and noticed that her father's car is gone.

"I'm going up there Mom." I said as I got out of the car.

My mom parked the car and then followed after me.. we both made our way up to her apartment and then knocked on the door.

No answer.

I then got in my tippy toes and felt around for the key.. and sure enough I found it on the top of the door. I quickly fumble with the key to unlock the door. The door opens and I am greeted with a horrible odor. I covered my nose and then looked around... once I stepped in I looked to my side and saw the table and that it had some red on it.. and then in the carpet more red.
