Take-Over: A BFB/TPOT AU

Chapter 2: Run!

Bracelety got up, and started walking towards the noise, spear in hand. She didn't make a single sound, and only peered over the bush in curiosity. But before, she woke up both Gelatin and Naily in case something happened. "Ice Cube?" She asked, but only to be met with silence. She almost turned back until she heard a low growl. "IS THAT YOU ICY?" She said once again, only louder. "Shh," Naily said, "It might be something feral." Bracelety didn't listen, and screamed even louder, "ICE CUBE IS THAT YOU??!" This time, she was met with a tackle. It was Woody, but different. It was clearly his shape, but it didn't sound like him. Gelatin lit a match and it showed something horrible. It was definitely Woody, but his main color was bright red, and his arm looked mauled. He could see Bracelety too, crying and saying get off. Woody was aiming for her arm, the same arm as the one that looks mangled on him. He tried to pull Woody off, but he was really heavy, and even with Naily stabbing him, he just continued to attack Bracelety. Eventually, when they saw Bracelety fall, they ran out of there, desperate to tell their team the news.

Team Free Food

Unlike how Team Beep moved faster than others, this team moved slower. They couldn't agree on what to do, and mostly sat around not knowing what to do. Eventually, they split in two, having different strategies. One half contained Yellow Face, Marker, Foldy, and Stapy. The other had Puffball, Bell, Eraser, and Fries. One group decided to actively go out and invade other territories, while the other stood behind, guarding their borders vigorously. 

YF, M, F, S

This group stayed behind and guarded the territories, seeing as how they couldn't really ambush, and are better at defending. They stood close to the border, which was marked by a thick, dark line. For hours nothing happened, and Yellow Face decided to find food. The other 3 passed time by playing RPS, their favorite game. It was going well, until the Sun set. They went to sleep, but Yellow Face wasn't back yet. "Maybe he's gathering a lot of food?" Guessed Marker hopefully. Stapy and Foldy however thought something happened and wanted to go find him. Marker claimed that he was fine, and that he would be back in the morning. The other two disagreed, and instead went to find him. Sighing, Marker was left by himself alone, waiting for half his team to come back. 

PB, E, B, F

Fries rode on Puffball, while Eraser clung to Bell's string. They were flying around the land, trying to spot other teams from above. Unfortunately for them, the trees were too densely packed to really see something. Finally, they saw a group of people bickering. It was Team, "A Better Name Than That", arguing about something. Seeing this as a good opportunity, Fries got his bows and arrows and aimed for TV. It hit them straight in the middle of their screen, and ABNTT immediately scattered under the trees, unable to be spotted. Groaning, they decided to try and get them on the ground. Eraser landed first and readied his pocketknife. He sneakily hid in trees, and spotted Robot Flower with Basketball and Eight Ball. They were discussing what to do with TV's sudden death. Eraser lunged to Robot Flower, seeing as she would be the most challenging to face. She put up a fight though, and left bruises on his body. In the end however, she got her wires pulled out and her limbs bent. During this, Bell swung towards the other 2, trying to get them as far away from Eraser as possible. However, with her eyes closed, she didn't notice 8-ball readying a charge, and was stunned by it. She got knocked out and fell to the ground. Basketball finished her off with a large strike from a hammer. Eraser was watching this from the trees, and jumped away, not wanting to end up like Bell. Meanwhile, Fries was kneeling on Puffball, ready to shoot anything that moved. She floated close to the ground, scanning to see any other contestants. Finally, she noticed Blocky and Grassy near a lake, drinking and conversing. She told Fries and he got off her, holding a baseball bat instead of his arrows. Fries told her his plan, and she flew above them. Then, she grabbed Grassy by his tips and flew high in the air. Blocky confused and shocked by this sudden movement, didn't notice Fries creeping up on him. He smashed his head in with the bat and told Puffball to drop Grassy. She followed, and he landed on the floor with a bam. He wasn't moving, and Fries considered him gone. Puffball soon flew down and they both enjoyed the small achievement they've accomplished.

Author's Note: Here's the second chapter! I feel bad killing multiple contestants in one chapter, but then I remember there are 64 of them and moved on quickly. A lot of action in this one compared to the other, and I like it. So, here's the dead/infected characters so far.
