Foldy & Stapy

They had been waiting for Marker and Yellow Face to come back with their teammates, but nothing happened.

Foldy was drawing a picture of her friends, while she waited. Her, Marker, Stapy, and Yellow Face had been split up from the rest of her team because of different strategies. Stapy had sent the other 2 to go find them to get a different idea. The sun had risen for 4 days since then, and no signs that they have returned. She started getting worried and impatient, but Stapy had reassured her that they were fine. Thinking hard about this, she broke her pencil on the paper, ruining the picture. Groaning in frustration, she ripped up the picture and fell on her back. She looked at the ceiling, thinking about where Marker and Yellow Face could be. Then Foldy started thinking about Stapy. "How could he be so calm about this?" She thought, every day while she worried, he was fine. He continued to gather food and do normal activities. She on the other hand, spent so much time worrying she couldn't do most of her activities. Wanting to talk to him, Foldy walked to Stapy's room. She was about to open the door when she heard a large thing land on the roof. Frozen in fear, she stood at the front of his door. Foldy immediately thought it was an opposing team and snapped out of it. She knocked vigorously on his door, but no reply. She tried opening it next, but it was locked. Dang it Stapy! Why wasn't he answering the door? She kicked it in frustration, causing the lock to open. Relieved, she walked in and saw why he wasn't answering. He had been busy preparing everything for them to leave. He looked up in annoyance.

"You didn't hear me say in a minute?"

"No actually! And I couldn't because the noise continued! Let's just hurry out of here."

Responding with a nod, he gave her a pack containing supplies. She flung it over her head, and they started moving. They unlocked the door and saw what was happening. It was Puffball! She was slamming hard on the roof; Eraser was on her back trying to stop her. He noticed them and told her to look. She did and flew down to them. Eraser got off her back, glad to see his teammates. He welcomed them with a wave and said,

"Hey guys! How have you been?"

Stapy gave a response happily, but Foldy seemed bothered. Concerned, Eraser asked what was wrong. Foldy told him that Yellow Face and Marker were out trying to look for them. He looked at Puffball, who shook her head. He tells them that they hadn't seen them at all. Foldy gave a worried look and fell to her knees. Stapy rushed to her side, comforting her. Eraser wanted to help, but Stapy just asked him a question.

"So, where's Bell and Fries?"

Eraser stopped, remembering what happened. He glanced at Puffball, and she had a blank look. He looked back at the other 2, and said,

"They...moved on."

"Yeah, I think that's what happened with Marker and Yellow Face."

Silent for a little while, Stapy started talking again. He suggested that they get materials for them to start leaving. Seeing as how much more Eraser and Puffball accomplished on offense, he thought this was the better move instead of defense. They both went inside to prepare, and Stapy looked back at Foldy. She looked tired, and she was sniffling. He hugged her more, and she looked at him.

"Stapy..."

"Yeah Foldy?"

"Promise me you won't die."

"Of course, I won't! Don't worry, I won't go anywhere without you."

She laughed meekly and closed her eyes. Stapy looked at her with comfort. He wanted Foldy to be safe more than anything, even if it meant he would die in the process.
