Taco & Lollipop & Book

Taco stood a few feet away from the doorway, looking at two directions. Behind her, Lollipop stood with an impatient and annoyed look, while Book laid on the floor, struggling to push an infected Dora back. Lollipop yelled at her, but Taco was phased out, too busy in her own world. She wanted to help Book, it was her instinct. However, if she couldn't, she was dead meat too. She looked worriedly at Book, who was crying at this point, struggling to say help. Dora seemed to just keep pushing, scratching Book to the point of black ink dripping down her arms. Taco put her arms up to her head, also on the verge of tears.
She couldn't handle this anymore. The challenge, the argument, the infected, she wanted it all to stop, to disappear. Why couldn't it? Why, why was she stuck here? Did she do anything? Perhaps wronged somebody earlier? She almost fell on her knees until something in her spoke up. Are you just going to stand there, while your friends are struggling? She looked up at where Lollipop was, but nothing remained but a small piece of purple. Her eyes opened in shock, Lollipop....Left her. She again looked at Book, who seemed to give up at this point. Her arms were barely holding Dora back, tears weren't falling harshly anymore, she accepted her fate. Taco looked on, still too frozen to move. Book gave her a look and they held eye contact. Book gave her a weak smile, and said almost too faintly to hear,

"I give up."

This was what got Taco moving. Book closed her eyes and stopped struggling. Dora immediately got down but was a bit surprised from the sudden movement. She stumbled for a moment, trying to get back up and find a position. But not before Taco got in and pulled Book away with the best of her ability. Book had passed out at this point, but Taco didn't care, she just needed to get her out of this place. Dora seemed to scream something, but suddenly stopped for some reason. Taco again, didn't really care at this moment and put Book on her back, running at fast as she could to get out. She ran and ran, adrenaline pumping hard in her body. She got hit by branches multiple times but didn't stop. She could keep going forever it felt like. She was about to stop when something tripped her. She fell to the ground face first, dropping Book next to her as she face-planted. Taco turned on her back and looked up at the afternoon sky. She felt footsteps approaching her and closed her eyes, hoping to look asleep. She felt the object standing above her, as the sunlight suddenly vanished.

"I know you can hear me Taco."

Taco opened her eyes weakly, seeing Lollipop above her, with a sort of angry, yet guilty look. Taco groaned and turned on her side, hoping that Lollipop would go away for now. She couldn't talk to her right now in her tired and exhausted state. Unfortunately, Lollipop lingered for a moment above, and sat off to the side, close to Taco's head.
Looks like I have some things to deal with later...

David & Coiny & Eraser

*Crunch*

David took the apple away from his mouth, enjoying the sweet flavor. They were walking around, trying to find out what to do now. He looked over at Coiny and Eraser, who were deep in conversation. David narrowed his eyes. Eraser had joined them a few days ago, and he didn't like it. Eraser was, how do you say it? Lighthearted. He always cracked a joke, and never refused a dare that Coiny said. Sure, it was fun, until you realize how distant you were. David and Coiny were a duo before, but they didn't talk much. There was the occasional, "Are you good?" and "Thanks for being here." But that all seemed so small to what Eraser and Coiny had. Almost as soon as Eraser joined, they had been talking non-stop. Whatever, why should I care anyway? David thought to himself, he never had any good friends, he even had an enemy. She's probably dead by now though. He looked back at the other two, who were laughing and hitting each other playfully. David wished he wasn't here; he didn't need a reminder for how anti-social he was. After a little bit, they heard a loud whooshing, and stopped in their tracks. Eraser's face fell and he immediately reached out for his knife. This was the Eraser he liked better. Stoic, quiet, and more serious in a time like this. David never asked, but he knew his body count was high, the way he acted, how he reacted when they found a dead Golf Ball in the Losers' territory. Too busy in thought, he didn't see the big Spongy coming right for him.

"David watch out!"

Coiny reached out his hand in hope of reaching him but was met with the damp softness of Spongy. David had been knocked down and was beneath Spongy, clearly struggling to get him off. Coiny walked over and tried to lift Spongy off, but that was an impossible task. He looked over at Eraser for help, but he didn't move. He just stood there, like he was waiting for Spongy to be done suffocating him. Coiny tried to do something, but his thoughts were interrupted by a large ripping. He looked up and saw a big tear in the middle of Spongy. Then, he saw a wet hand coming out, followed by David emerging from the large body, soaked in some kind of water. Coiny didn't hesitate and reached out for him, pulling him out and looked at Spongy with cautiousness. Spongy slowly got up and looked at all of them. They all watched in horror as his body slowly repaired itself in a way that seemed to take too long. Eraser grabbed Coiny's hand and whispered, "We should go." Coiny didn't move though, and his eyes were glued on Spongy, who was talking, but in some way that was indecipherable.

Ț̵̡̢̨̛̛̼̬̻̣̒͒̒́̏͒̃̈̚h̵̢̢̜̱̣͔̠̫̺͐̽̈̊͐̔̾͛̊̈́̆ͅả̶̢̗̩̲̠͚̙̗͚̘̩͐̄̆̂̇̿̿͌̐̑̇̂͘͠ṯ̴͑̾̇́͑͐́͗̕ ̶̣͐̑̉͐̚͝͝h̸͚̞̠̩͕͒̋͛u̸̢̢̙̭͙̱̝̣̙͔̗̪͎̫̽̈́͋̇̊́̃̾̈́̚͠ŗ̷̢͍̟̟̮̳̆̆̓̉̎̕̕͝t̷̝̮̺̜̟͎̫̙͔̩͗̏̔͗̋͊̒̽̚͘̚ͅs

Spongy lunged at them, more specifically Coiny. Eraser pulled him out of the way and into the trees. He looked down at Spongy, who didn't know where they went. David was on the ground still, behind Spongy where he couldn't see him. David gulped nervously, as one wrong move could end in his death. Spongy was growling and speaking more words that were too distorted to understand. David knew this couldn't last and tried running out of there. Spongy noticed, and soon chased him. He ran, while Coiny and Eraser stayed in the tree, watching the whole thing unfold. Coiny whisper-yelled,

"We need to help him! He won't last long like that!"

Eraser only gave a somber look and shook his head. Coiny tried to get out of his reach, but Eraser's hand was too tight on him.

"Let, GO Eraser!"

"Don't you see what you're doing?" He said in a hushed voice. "You're going to lead him to us!"

Coiny finally yanked out of his hand and climbed down, running and yelling for David. Eraser only put his left hand on his head and cursed,

"These idiots aren't gonna help me at all..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"David? David! Where are you dude?"
Coiny yelled into the trees. He'd been trying to find David for about 15 minutes already. No sight of him and Spongy besides the trees that were broken in the shape of Spongy. He followed their trail and was at a dead end now. The tracks have vanished and no footprints at all.
*Crunch*
He looked up, and saw David, in a tree, finishing the apple that he was eating. David looked relieved for a moment, but then gave him a look of coldness. Coiny offered his hand out to help him, but he ignored the gesture. He started walking back to where they were, while Coiny tried to start small talk. This failed, as David seemed to not notice he was there. So, he's ignoring me huh? Fine, I can do that too. Coiny stopped trying and walked besides him, occasionally checking in his bag, which consisted of a bright yellow sphere and some small weapons. Soon, they found Eraser, who was doing something to the tree. Coiny waved and Eraser responded with a rough grunt. He looked over and saw that Eraser was trying to map the area that they were trapped in. He had all their teams laid out, along with a few other teams with the exception of Death P.A.C.T and BLEH. He also had listed every contestant with most of the names scratched out. He looked over to them with a sly grin and a look of victory. He said his whole plan in one sentence.
"Let's go object-hunting."
