Chapter 26: Discovered

Team: Death P.A.C.T

Pen worries about Pillow and Remote's whereabouts.

"Are you serious?"

Tree facepalmed himself. He had just woken up and was immediately met with a wave of worry from Pen. Apparently, when Pen had woken up, he wasn't greeted by Remote, which was usual for him. Then, he went to her room, which was empty. This caused him to go to Tree, since he considers him the leader. Tree gave him a tired look and looked at the clock in his room. It read 10:00. He usually slept in until 11:30 but didn't really care for it anymore. What made him more annoyed, is Pen's worrying. He knows that Remote isn't the type of person to just leave without saying anything. 

"Have you checked everyone's rooms? She might be visiting someone..."

"I did! Nothing!"

Pen was getting even more worried. What happened to Remote? Why can't he find her? He looked at Tree. There was no worry in his face, just fatigue and annoyance. Knowing Tree isn't going to do anything about this, he left. Maybe he could go to Black Hole! Yeah, if anyone has answers, it's him! He ran off to Black Hole's room and knocked anxiously. Black hole came out immediately.

"What? What is it?"

"Remote's missing!"

"What are you talking about?"

"She's not here, and I think-"

"Pen. She might be hunting?"

"Oh, uh, maybe? Still though, wouldn't she tell us?"

"Maybe she just didn't want to wake us. That's what I'd do."

"Still! She always told us before. Why would she stop?"

"I think you're overreacting. Go back to sleep."

"But-"

*Slam* Pen stopped talking as Black Hole closed the door on his face. 

"Why won't anybody listen to me?!"

This caused Pie to step out of her room and face him. She had heard everything that Pen said. Pen looked at her in surprise, then relief. He's going to ask me to help, isn't he? Pie was correct. As soon as she thought of that, he did just so. Pie just listened to him and compared it with what she noticed. 

"Yeah, I noticed that Pillow is gone too."

"Really? That means there are two people that are gone?! What happened Pie?"

Pie just shrugged. She didn't know and didn't really care. Whatever they're doing is their business, not mine. However, Pen didn't stop. He dragged her to Bottle's room and knocked on it repeatedly. Bottle happily opened the door and said,

"Hi Pen! Hi Pie! What's up?"

"Pillow and Remote are missing, and we need help to find them!"

"So, you want to do a rescue mission for them? Sounds fun! Count me in!"

Bottle way excited. Finally, something fun to do! She ecstatically followed Pen as he dragged Pie down the stairs. Pie didn't really seem to care, as she did nothing to stop it, and instead just went with the flow. They were down the stairs when Pen stopped suddenly. 

"Look guys!"

He pointed towards the window. It was open, and some fluff was below it. Bottle got even more excited. It was like a murder mystery challenge. Pen rushed towards the window and picked it up. He nodded at her and Pie. This was Pillow's, and she went out the window. Why not the door? It was easier. She pushed away these thoughts and just went to Pen's side. He was currently observing the fluff and told Bottle that they should go outside to find her trail. She quickly agreed, and went to get Pie, but she was already approaching them.

"I can walk you know. Lead the way."

Taco & Blocky

"Oh, my gordita..."

She was facing Blocky, who wasn't the same anymore. He stood almost as still as a statue, with an occasional twitch. His eyes were staring at her, and he didn't blink. She gulped nervously but started talking. 

"Was this what you were talking about? Being infected?"

He responded with a creepy smile. She felt a shiver run around her shell and asked another question.

"Bet you really regret getting that now, don't you?"

His smile fell, and it turned into a snarl. He ran towards her, and she grabbed a pipe. She immediately put it up to his face and he bit on it. He started clawing the pipe, as well as her shell. This hurt her, but she just put more effort into pushing the pipe towards him. Eventually, the pipe broke due to the intense pressure, and she was left defenseless. Blocky saw this and launched towards her. She just raised her arms in defense, knowing this wasn't going to work out well. However, the attack never came. Instead, she heard a thwack, and opened her eyes. Blocky was a few feet away from her, holding his eye, which had an arrow through it. She turned around and saw Lollipop, preparing another arrow. Lollipop looked at her and grinned.

"Did you think I'd leave you my fishy friend?"

Taco's anxiety alleviated. Now that Lollipop was here, they'd have a better advantage. They just watched as Blocky pulled the arrow out of his eye, now covered in resin. It caused Lollipop to cover her mouth in disgust, but Taco ignored that. She took a part of the broken pipe and pointed it towards Blocky. Because of its jagged edges, it was more deadly. Blocky started twitching again, and soon, something happened. He convulsed in front of them and looked at the ceiling with eyes closed. Confused, they both stepped closer. However, Blocky soon looked at them, eye regenerated and healed. Lollipop just grabbed for something and took out a large button. She looked at Blocky and grinned. Both him and Taco were confused until she pressed it. This revealed a large weight, and it crashed down on Blocky. This tore a hole through the house, as it went through all of its layers. Both Taco and Lollipop looked down, unable to see Blocky's body. Taco looked at Lollipop and asked her, 

"Why did you drop a weight?"

"Well Taco, I have a friend on another team, who told me that they saw Evil Leafy die from a large weight, so I decided to do the same. I'm glad it worked, because I wasn't exactly sure it would."

"Well, I'm glad it did. Thanks for coming back."

"Did you really believe that I would leave you alone? Unlike Book, I have some sense."

"Speaking of her, what will she say when I come back?"

"Don't worry, I'll help you."

"Thanks Lollipop, I don't know where I'd be without you."
