Chapter 27: Disappearances

Evil Manor

Blocky suddenly disappears.

"Yeah, so that's what happened-"

Blocky stopped talking. He was in a conversation with Woody about going back into the competition when he suddenly felt relieved. It was like a million bricks were off of him! He stood up in astonishment and Woody got confused. Blocky didn't care at the moment though and smiled at the weight lifted. He walked out of Woody's room and went back to his. Even though Woody called for him multiple times, Blocky didn't respond. Once he closed his door, he looked around his room. Everything started disappearing, starting with the bed. This caused Blocky bewilderment. What on Goiky was happening? He stepped closer to the wall, with the paint starting to fade rapidly. He touched it but didn't fell any different. What was happening? Soon, he heard a pop, then a drum roll. He turned around and saw that he was no longer in the Evil Manor. Instead, he was back at the APE. 4 and X looked at him with interest and surprise.

"Wah?!"

Woody was surprised. He was walking up to Blocky's room when he saw that its sign was blank again. It was like Blocky suddenly disappeared. He tried to go inside, but it was locked. He rattled it even more, but nothing happened. He started getting frustrated but decided to get somebody who was stronger to help him. He waited by the door when Fries saw him. Happy, Woody dragged Fries to the door, and motioned for him to open it. He managed to understand him and started grabbing the handle. It didn't work though, and Fries was just tired in the end. Seeing as how it didn't work for him, Woody started thinking if there was another way to open it besides just unlocking the door handle. He started punching and hitting the door; Fries was confused at first, but soon followed. This attracted Cake and Gelatin, who proceeded to help them after Fries explained what to do. After a little while, the door fell down, and Woody went inside. It was blank. Anything that remained of Blocky was gone and was back to what it would be without somebody to inhabit it. The others weren't as surprised though, since they didn't know that this used to be Blocky's room. Woody tried to explain to them the situation, but it was easier to explain opening a door than a mysterious disappearance. Getting more frustrated, he went to get the building block he used to explain it to Leafy and held it up. Everybody was still stumped, and he decided to be more specific. He placed it on the floor, put it up against the frame outside, and just waved it in their faces. Finally, Gelatin understood and told the other 2. Relieved that somebody finally got it, he put down the block and laid against the wall. But now what? More people know that he's gone, but what's that going to do?

Team: Free Food

Stapy gets more suspicious about Foldy's absence.

It's sure been a while... Stapy looked out the window. Ever since Eraser had come back and told them that Foldy was still hunting, he waited for her. However, he started giving up. Why should he have to wait for her to show up? Foldy will come eventually, he just has to find something to do while she was gone. He spotted Eraser sipping a cup of water and waved hi. The more he thought about it, the more it was weird that Eraser didn't come back with Foldy. Eraser waved his greeting back, and Stapy started talking to him.

"Hey Eraser! What are you doing?"

"I'm uh, drinking water?"

"I can see that. What are you thinking about?"

"Just... the other teams. Planning how to attack."

"Really? You didn't seem that interested when we were doing that earlier."

"Oh, because I uh, was too tired to listen?"

"You weren't tired enough to go hunting with Foldy earlier..."

"Because I was already awake when we went?"

"Hmm, ok. Makes sense. Do you want to play rock paper scissors?"

"Sure. Rock, paper, scissors..."

Good save Eraser! He was playing RPS with Stapy, and was thinking about how he managed to cover up his actions so well. Stapy didn't even look the tiniest bit suspicious! Keeping Foldy's death a secret was easier than he thought. After a few rounds though, Puffball showed up. From her point of view, she couldn't see Stapy, due to him being shorter than the counter. She only saw Eraser, who in her eyes, was bored and playing with his hands. So, she didn't realize she made a mistake when she said,

"Hey Eraser, with Foldy gone, we need to come up with a better strategy. I was thinking about-"

"Foldy's what?!"

Are you serious Puffball?! Eraser did a facepalm. She managed to undo everything he just did. Stapy was just there, his jaw opened from shock. Puffball realized he was here and started looking away from the both of them. Now that Stapy knows, it'll be back to just the two of them again. That might actually be better, since they worked good with just the 2 of them. He didn't have his moment of silence for long though, because Stapy started yelling at him.

"Eraser! Seriously?! How did you let her die?! It isn't hard to make sure that she's fine."

"Now it wasn't my fault-"

"Of course, it is! If it isn't then who's?"

"It's Fries! He's-"

"Ok, okay, but one thing though, Fries is dead! He's not coming back."

"You don't get it! He suddenly-"

"Stop blaming your OWN actions on dead people Eraser! You just don't want to seem like the guilty one!"

"Shut up Stapy! Puffball back me up!"

Puffball didn't do anything. The more she listened, the more she started not trusting Eraser. She was already doubting him when he had previously told her this story. Stapy's look on things only enhanced her doubt. 

"It WAS weird when you said Fries killed her..."

"Does nobody trust me anymore?! Fries was like a zombie when he approached us! I tried protecting both me AND Foldy, but he teleported and started ripping her! I TRIED to get him to stop, but he was too strong! I had to get out of there, or else I was next!"

"Aha! So, you admit you left her to die once Fries started!"

"I already told you that I tried to pull him off!"

"BOTH OF YOU! SHUT UP! We know that Foldy died, and Eraser saw it all. Although his story doesn't make sense, (E: "Oh come on!") I think we should trust his word for now. It's getting late anyways; we'll think more about it tomorrow. Stapy, I know you want to stay up, but we NEED to go sleep." 

All of them did nothing at first, but Eraser started leaving the room and retreating into his room. Stapy looked at him with contempt as he closed the door, and soon went to his room. Puffball sighed and thought to herself. Ok, so that's been settled for now. She thought about what to do next and had no idea. That whole argument WAS kind of her fault, so maybe she should apologize to the two of them? No, they would probably not listen. She shook her thoughts away and went to her own room. She would settle this in the morning.

Author's Note: I am once again changing how this works! The objects believe that once you die in this competition, you die forever. We're going to pretend 4 said something about never coming back to make them more worried. And any mention of coming back, we'll just pretend it didn't happen, ok? I most likely added it to be more dramatic and suspenseful. Thank you for reading this!
