Chapter 42: The Viewers Will Decide!

"Is the camera recording?"

"I think so, the red light is blinking."

"Good! Now, hello viewers! Yes you! The ones reading this story. It is us, your wonderful hosts! 4 and X."

"Hi!"

"We are recording right now because it's time for one of these contestants to say goodbye to the prize!"

"Yeah, and YOU will decide who is!"

"Below, we will have a list of the contestants you can choose to leave! Just leave a comment besides the one you want saying, 'I vote him/her.' Now, we will display the objects you can vote!

"Now that I think of it, didn't Iance ALSO have a sphere like this?"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, wasn't it pink? Maybe it had special powers too!"

"..."

"Let's go back and get it!"

"..."

"I'll take that as a yes."

Coiny grabbed David's hand in excitement. They had recently discovered that the spheres granted to them have special powers and were going to Iance's base to get it. David took his hand back and they ran back. They hadn't gone that far from the base, so they soon reached it. Coiny pushed the door open and looked around. He was about to step in when he realized, he totally forgot where it was.

The base wasn't exactly small, and the sphere wasn't that big either. It was small enough that you could hold it in one hand. He stood in the doorway, trying to remember where it was, putting his hand up to his chin. David stood outside, confused on why he was just standing in the way. He gently pushed him aside and went inside. He made his way to Pencil's bedroom and opened a large chest. Yep. There it was. He held it with two arms close to his chest and felt the warmth of it, closing his eyes in comfort. It glowed brightly then returned back to normal. He opened his eyes, and was surprised to see a large, glowing barrier surrounding him. It was a bright gold color, and it was semi-transparent.

"Hey, I forgot where it was-"

Whoosh! Coiny was pushed back by a strong force and fell back against the wall. He rubbed his head in pain and looked up. David had his arm outstretched and seemed to be apologetic. He waved his hand to show he was fine and looked more at David. He then realized that he had already found it, and it was what pushed him back. He tried touching it again, and there was a weaker force pushing his hand back. Amazed, he tried throwing his knife at it, and it flew back at him, barely missing his body. He went to pull his knife out of the wall while David looked at the sphere in awe.
