Book

"Ok, they should be right... Here?"

She looked out onto the lake, seeing only it and the green plants that surrounded it. No sight of them anywhere... She started to get worried. It HAD been a while since she saw them there, but they were hungry and tired, they wouldn't leave! Right? She shook her head, clearing her mind. Walking down, Book glanced around her, trying to find them. Tempted she was to yell their names but hesitated. What if an opposing team heard her? Only bad could stem from that. Mm, whatever! The 3 of us could take them!

"Saw! Gaty! Where are you?! I know you guys are around!"
She stopped walking, waiting for a response to follow her question. She looked around, hoping, praying that she would hear Saw's or Gaty's voice. Nothing. Worry was starting to sink in, but she just took a deep breath, and yelled again. Nothing once again. This was starting to irritate her. She opened her bag and took out the sphere, closing her eyes. She could feel the world change around her and was about to open her eyes when she felt a sudden shove. It pushed her to the ground, and she struggled to get up again. She was on her knees when she felt a hand push her head onto the floor. Whoever it was, they were growling, and she could feel something sharp digging into her back. Was Dora back again?

The dread started kicking in, and she could feel sweat forming. No. No no no no NO! Not now! Not when I'm this close to them! She gritted her teeth, and reached for her bag again, feeling for her knife. The object seemed to notice, and stopped holding her head, instead grabbing her arm, digging into it with sharp claws. Book yelled in pain, seeing that ink was slowly dripping down from her arm. Her eyes widened, and she could barely move. Where it was from shock or from how the object wouldn't let her move, she didn't know.

Book couldn't turn to look at them, but she recognized that voice. No way...She would never-

Coiny, Eraser, David, Pen, Bottle

"What. Did. You. DO?"

David backed against the wall while Pen walked over to him from the bed where Bottle was. She looked scared, terrified. Like David was going to murder her any second (Well, he DID try to just a few minutes ago). Pen looked furious, angry. His chill personality nowhere to be found. Coiny looked bewildered, like he too has never seen Pen like this. Eraser only looked worried. For whom David didn't know. There was barely any space between David and Pen after he stopped. Pen grabbed David's shoulders.

"She's harmless! She could NEVER do anything to you!"

He was angry, yes, but also fearful, David realized. He looked back at Bottle, seeing that she had her eyes on him, and was holding a piece of glass that fell on the ground. She pointed it shakily towards him and was breathing heavily. David narrowed his eyes and glanced around everyone, taking in their expressions. Pen and Bottle's remained the same, Eraser look bored and slightly worried, Coiny looked confused, probably still shocked that Bottle was here and alive. David looked down, avoiding eye contact. He gripped his sickle tighter and was thinking how to get out of this.

"Please, leave her alone."

Pen pleaded, David still kept his eyes on the floor, a frown now appearing on his face. He was thinking hard. He still wanted to speed things up and didn't want to be in this dome forever. He looked up now, but towards Bottle. He saw that he was small enough to slide through Pen's arms and reach Bottle and had an idea. He stared at Pen, who stared back, both increasing tension with every moment of silence. Suddenly, David ducked, and ran between Pen's arms. In the split moment where they were focused on his sudden movement, David raised his sickle and smashed it down, aiming for Bottle. However, he didn't hit her.

He was sure he aimed for her, he did. However, he didn't hear shattering glass. He didn't hear Pen crying or Coiny yelling at David. What he heard was Bottle crying, Eraser yelling at David, and the sight that laid before him. Pen was limp, being held up by Bottle. A huge gash in Pen's back exploded with ink and was pouring out onto the bed sheets. David felt numb and confused. He hit Bottle, didn't he? So then why was Pen in front of him dead? He dropped the sickle on the floor, and stood standing, staring at Pen's corpse. Bottle was hugging him and crying loudly. Eraser was shaking David, and he could hear him choking back tears while he did it. Coiny remained where he was, a look of shock on his face, his mouth slightly open, his hands to his side, open besides one gripping a cloth.

David slowly grabbed his sickle again, staring at Bottle as he did. She didn't notice; too focused on Pen's body, crying her eyes out as she did. He shifted it around to a comfortable position and was preparing to raise it. Eraser didn't notice, he stopped yelling at David after a couple of minutes and had his head on the wall, sobbing quietly. David raised it, certain he was gonna hit Bottle now, but was stopped by Coiny.

He turned around, looking at Coiny. He had his hand around David's arm and stared at him with what David thought looked like betrayal. He was stuttering and was trying to ask David something. This continued, and only after he took a break he spoke with a low voice.

"How could you do that to them?"
