Chapter 6: Lost in the Unknown

Leafy

In this world, there exists only a house surrounded by an empty, white void. Sort of like an afterlife of sorts. She first came here around BFDIA's beginning, taken over by something else. She felt alone and scared, but gradually got used to it. She'd wake up in her room, go out and get some food. Afterwards, she'd step outside and walk around the house a few times. Repeat cycle for months and months, alone. Then suddenly, she got pulled out of it, and returned to the real world. It was a miracle, like something that could happen only in a lifetime. So, when she got sent back her, she was despaired, confused, and anguished. She had ripped her walls, torn off the covers, and cried. She continued to until she heard a popping noise. She ran out, hoping it was something to help her. Instead, it was Woody, having the same look she did when she arrived. She told Woody about what this place actually is, and he responded with a scream of disbelief. It was quiet after that, but Leafy became more alone and reclusive, barely coming out. In fact, when Bracelety arrived, she was numb, and lost in her thoughts. After interacting with Bracelety, she went back to how she acted. That was, until another member showed up. She was in the kitchen, eating a slice of yoylecake. When she heard the same popping noise. She dropped her slice and ran up to the room. She stopped at the door, with a familiar object outside of it.

"Oh, hey Leafy. Ummm, where am I?"

Tennis Ball and Golf Ball

"Hey GB, do you know where we are?" Asked Tennis Ball nervously. Him and Golf ball were on team "A Better Name Than That" but got split up due to a surprise attack. They both sticked together and ended up on the opposite side of their teammates. They decided that in order to help their team win, they should eliminate the other teams. They had no luck however and crossed the border to Team BLEH. Golf ball noticed several traps and had Tennis Ball use the traps for parts of a device she was creating. "No clue honestly, but if we trust my instincts, we should end up on a base in 12 minutes." Groaning, he decided to grab some berries and eat them, and he hadn't eaten anything in 2 days. He offered some berries to Golf Ball, but she declined them, saying she needed to concentrate. They walked like this for about 10 minutes when GB suddenly stopped. Tennis Ball didn't realize this, and as she stopped him, he tripped and fell over into an open clearing. He cleared his head and saw a crossbow pointing at him. He panicked and started running but got a cut near where his arm would be if he had one. He didn't stop and ran into the bushes, making loud noises scaring away any wildlife. After he couldn't walk anymore, he fell over and passed out. But not before hearing footsteps approaching him and looking at his injury.

Foldy, Stapy, Yellow Face

It was 8 hours after the incident. They had started to move again, trying to get back to their territory. Foldy was limping, and eventually just rode on Yellow Face's head. They were walking for 3 hours when they encountered Marker. They asked questions, like how he was doing and why he came. He answered all of them and explained that anything he didn't bring was buried underneath a large rock. He led them back into their territory, and it seems like they were going the wrong way at first. Finally, they arrived at their base and rested. Marker soon headed out, claiming to go find the materials he left behind. Foldy was breathing shallower now, seeing Death's door. Yellow Face and Stapy noticed but couldn't really do anything besides comfort and cover her with words and bandages. Finally, Stapy took the red ball they had received from the chest. He held it close to his face, and felt...better? He took it away and felt his face. The scar was gone, and he immediately rushed to Foldy's side. He took her injured foot and pressed it against the warm ball. At first, Foldy moaned in pain. Then sighed in relief. Her pain suddenly was alleviated, and she could stand up. She opened her eyes and saw Yellow Face's joyful grin, and Stapy's look of relief. Stapy did a group hug, and they stayed like that for a little while. "Uh, did I miss something?" They turned around and saw Marker holding his supplies. They all ran to him, and happily explained what happened. His face lit up and gave Foldy a hug. "Yay! You're ok!" They rejoiced by eating more food than usual and conversing. It was an amazing day for them, and they kept the ball in a hidden area.

Team Beep

After Woody's incident, they had all split up. Thankfully, they all met back up in their original base, everybody unscathed. They decided it was safe here and boarded up the doors to keep intruders out. They got Cloudy to fly out and get food every once in a while. They were very closed up and didn't do anything besides hide. After what seemed like weeks, they declared it safe and started acting open. Teammates were outside almost all day, gathering food or setting up defenses. Although the whole time, the team felt as though Evil Leafy was right there, watching them from afar. This finally got to Nickel, and he offered a solution. "We should just run away from here. I can't stand the presence, and I know you guys can't either!" All the team just looked at one another, lost for words. After some minutes, they decided to go along, and packed up all their stuff. Balloony grabbed the strange dark green ball that remained. He grabbed it and felt light and restless. He was confused, and asked his team, "Uh guys? Do any of you feel more, energetic?" The team looked at him bewildered, and he had David touch the ball too. "Aw, seriously?" He started running at cheetah speed out of their base, and everyone looked in awe. They kept switching glances between the ball and the direction David ran. Soon after, everybody touched the ball and received their surge of energy. They ran fast, with materials safely intact. They crossed the border soon and were pretty deep into Iance's border. Eventually, Beep reached the base and looted their supplies. They saw a light pink ball, but decided to leave it alone, as they had no idea what it would do to them. They were pretty tired, as the ball's effects have worn off. They thought about touching it again but feared the consequences of after it wore off. So, they went more closer to the other side of their territory and rested. Not knowing what would await them in the future.

Author's Note: Hey there! I have a pretty important announcement this time. So, I finished another chapter plus I thought you guys would want a closer look at what Leafy was experiencing. (Is she a fan favorite?) The important announcement is...I am going to be adding in my ships to this. It's not going to be like a whole section dedicated to the ships. More like small interactions showing their relationship. If you are uncomfortable with this, please tell me and I'll stop writing it in immediately.
