Chapter 11: Searching for What?

Eraser, Fries, Puffball, Bell

They had stalked out the Losers and couldn't do anything really because of injuries. Fries tried to convince them that he was fine, but it was obvious that it was hurting. After deciding they couldn't attack them, Puffball took them to the direction of the base. It was peaceful for a while, until they got swarmed by a large number of birds. They were trying to flee from the trees, and a lightning bolt had suddenly attacked them. This caused Puffball to drop the 2, and thankfully, they landed on the trees. Puffball swooped back down, and almost got them back on until something struck. Another bolt had struck and hit Fries, causing him to fall. Puffball dropped Eraser and rushed to him. She tried to wake him up by nudging, but he wasn't moving. She started crying until she felt a hand. She opened her eyes, and saw Fries, his eyes barely open. He said,

"Puffball...I'm not going to survive this."

"No! It's Ok, we just have to-"

"Just listen, take my weapons and give them to Eraser, he'll take care of them."

"But-"

She was cut off by a growl, and saw what seemed to be Lightning, but bright red with wide eyes. She was confused but saw that he was flying towards her. She flew up, and saw that Lightning was actually aiming for Fries. She could hear him screaming, but couldn't help, since she had his supplies in her mouth, scared to drop them. She watched in horror as Fries went limp, and Lightning started aiming for Eraser, who was scratching his head in pain. She dived towards Eraser and scooped him up. She flew quickly, tears streaming down her face. Eraser was still fazed and didn't realize what was happening until later. 

"Puffball! I thought I was a goner. Where's Fries? I think you forgot him."

"..."

"Puffy? Where is he? Don't tell me-"

"He's gone. Lightning got to him."

Now silent, Eraser inspected Fries' supplies. He still had an ample number of arrows, and the baseball bat was rather clean for how it was used. He didn't plan to use the bat however and acted like it was a sharpener for his knife instead. Puffball, still somewhat solemn, swore to do something. No matter what, if she saw Lightning again, she was determined to end him.

Team: Ice Cube

Ever since they got the news of Bracelety's doings, they were wary of Naily and Gelatin. Though, more to Gelatin. Even though Naily had as much as a part in this, she had lost her memory and don't remember stating her disappearance. Pencil had looked worn down and given up. She begged to be let go, swearing she could do no harm. Nobody believed her of course, but after a while it got to them. They let her go but made her swear she would never attack them. Once they got back to base, Naily and Gelatin could sense something wrong. Gelatin looked around, everybody had their eyes on either him or Naily. Confused, he asked loudly, 

"Is there something wrong with me? You're looking at me like I killed someone."

"Y-yeah, what's up with that?"

They were met with silence. Donut exchanged awkward looks with Barf Bag. Bomby could no longer look at them and focused on his feet. Firey Jr. stood atop of Spongy with a disgusted look on his face. Firey Jr. said,

"Wow, you guys are so bad! I can't believe you would do that to Bracelety. I know she was annoying, but I didn't know you guys hated her that much."

"What are you talking about? What did we do to Bracelety?"

"You guys told us that Bracelety died from Woody, but Pencil told us that she saw Bracelety kill Lightning recently."

Barf Bag responded, she looked up with betrayal on her face. Gelatin was incredulous. They thought that him and Naily lied!
