Chapter 16: Guesses Are Made

Team: Ice Cube

Gelatin and Naily try to talk to their teammates.

Barf Bag was hanging out with Spongy, when they heard the door open. She turned around and saw Naily standing at the door with Gelatin close behind her. He was hiding something, but Barf Bag couldn't see it. She looked at Naily with curiosity. Was she ok? Did she need something? She was about to ask when Naily interrupted her.

"Guys! Something happened!"

"What is it?"

All the team came rushing in. Bomby was grabbing a quick snack when he heard Naily's announcement. He was eating it when he heard her news. He dropped it in astonishment. 

"It's Woody! He was acting really weird, and he attacked Gelatin! Show them!"

Gelatin did nothing. He just stood there, still covering his arm. He looked up, but it wasn't the same. All of them looked red, he had an urge to attack. He held it down this entire time. Even right after Woody bit, he wanted to do so. But it was only Naily, the person who believed in him. Here though, surrounded by the people who were prepared to abandon him, it felt stronger. The others noticed too and backed away. Only Naily remained, concerned about him.

"W-What happened to your eyes?"

Naily was scared, but she couldn't leave him alone! She walked closer, and he pushed her away. She fell to the floor in pain, landing point first. "Ow!" Bomby rushed over to her and helped her up. She thanked him and looked back at Gelatin. He was breathing heavier, and twitching. It was quiet except for the breaths everybody took. After what seemed like forever, he started teleporting around them. She was confused and held her defense. Bomby quickly went in front of her, as a means of protection. 

"Hey! I can defend myself! Watch this!"

She faced her point at where Gelatin currently was and dashed over there, the sharp end facing him. She kicked off the ground and put as much force as she could forward and was met with a soft jelly cushioning. She looked behind her and saw where she stabbed. Naily had managed to hit his side, and he did nothing. He looked at her and grabbed her leg. "No!" Bomby was running over, while Naily tried to kick him off. She kicked him, poked him again with her point, nothing. He was about to bite when Bomby pushed him to the ground. He picked up Naily and put her on top of Spongy. He turned to Gelatin, anger burning in his eyes. However, he just looked intensely at all of them. They started to get nervous, and Donut yelled.

"GELATIN! GET OUT OF HERE! It's clear that you DON'T care for our team, and that there's something wrong with you."

Gelatin wasn't listening though; he was busy in his mind. He had just been teleported to this weird, pink room. He saw evil Leafy and asked,

"How are YOU here? You got crushed by a weight! I saw it!"

EVER HEARD OF RECOVERY CENTERS?

"Yeah, that's fair, but still! Who would revive you?"

YOU CAN THANK YOUR HOSTS FOR THAT. ANYWAY, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY GO NOW.

"What? Go where? This is literally my body."

OH, YOU'LL FIND OUT.

"Wait-"

That was the last word he spoke before he felt himself teleported. He landed in the room and looked around. Where the heck was, he? He heard his door open and turned around. It was Leafy, asking,

"How's the game so far?"

Team: BEEP

They were at base, wondering.

Cloudy was sitting in his room, looking at his collection. So far, he had a collection of weapons, seeds, and much more. He was admiring it, when he heard David screaming, "NO!" Worried, he flew out and followed the voice. Roboty was beeping faster than usual, and Cloudy could see why. There was a string lying on the floor, with parts of balloon material on the side. Cloudy knew what this was and was still with shock. This...Was Balloony. Cloudy couldn't believe it. He had gone to look for Nickel and Rocky, and came back like this? David was looking at the remains, Roboty, and Cloudy. Cloudy still floated in place. Moments later, he asked the two of them, "Where did you find him?" Both of them glanced anxiously at each other. Both of them couldn't talk in a way he could understand. Remembering, he left, thinking. How did he die? Probably popped right? That's why his pieces were scattered. Then who killed him? Probably somebody with a sharp edge near us, right? Hmmm, the two teams surrounding us are the Losers and Iance. Ruby and Pencil have a sharp edge, but Needle and Pin also have one. While he was thinking, David came up to him. He pointed in the direction of Iance's territory. Trying to think about why, he came up with that's who killed him. He decided to come up with an idea. They were going to have a sneak attack. 

"We have the power to go at super speed, right?"

The two of them nodded.

"Then we'll be so fast that they won't notice us!"

Both of them agreed and the team knew what they would do to Iance. It was time for revenge!
