Chapter 24

"You all think I'm crazy, right," Eddie shifts.

"No. We don't think your crazy," Dustin shakes his head.

"Don't bullshit me, man! I know how this sounds," Eddie cries.

"We're not bullshitting you," max says.

"We believe you," Robin speaks up.

"Look, what I'm about to tell you might be a little....difficult to take," Dustin tells Eddie.

"Okay."

"You know how people say Hawkins is.. cursed. They're not way off. There's another world. A world hidden beneath Hawkins. Sometimes it bleeds into ours."

"Like ghosts and shit?" Eddie's asks.

"There's are some thing's worse than ghosts," Max says.

"These monsters from this other world.....we thought they were gone, but they've come back before. That's why we needed to find you."

"If they're back again, we need to know," I say. Eddie looks at me and back at Dustin.

"That night, did you see anything?" Robin asks.

"Dark particles, maybe?" Max questions. Eddie shakes his head.

"It would almost look like dust, swirling dust," Dustin shakes his head.

"No, man, there was nothing you could see or, uh or touch. You know I tried to wake her, man. She couldn't move. It was like she...she was in a trance of something."

"Or under a spell," Dustin mutters.

"A curse."

"Vecna's curse," I look at the two.

"Who's Vecna?" Steve asks.

"An undead creature of great power," I explain.

"A spell caster," Eddie says.

"A dark wizard," Dustin says.

I get up and start walking around. "So, we're gonna need to make sure you don't get found," I look at Eddie.

"Yeah, we'll leave for now, but in the morning we're going grocery shopping for whatever you need," Dustin says.

"Here's some paper and a pencil. Write down what you need," Max hands him a pencil and paper.

Eddie writes what he need down and I take the paper, "we'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay," Eddie mutters.

We all leave and head for Steve's car. We all get in and Steve backs out. "Okay, are we gonna talk about something?" Robin speaks up.

"No," I say.

"Um, yes," Steve glances at me.

"Dustin what the fuck," I groan and look back.

"It was in the moment! I swear I didn't mean to say that!" Dustin yells.

"You told Dustin and not me?!" Steve gasps.

"And Mike," Dustin sticks out his index finger.

"Dustin!" I shout.

"Y/n!" Steve yells.

"Dustin I am never telling you anything ever again," I cover my face with my hands.

"Hey, you told me you liked Steve last year. I kept that a pretty good secret."

"You told me though," Robin furrows her eyebrows.
