Chapter 2

It's the next day and we are currently at the camera shop shopping for a new camera. "Johnathon, what about this camera?" I point.

"Y/n this is an amazing camera. How much is it?"

I look around and find the price tag, "oh my god, Jon it's only $49.99."

"That's perfect!"

We walk to the register and pull out our wallets. I chip in $15 while he pays the rest since he assisted. We walk out the shop with a happy smile on Jons face.

"We'll have to test it on Monday." I say.

"Okay, imma go home. Wanna ride home as well?"

"Yeah."

We were driving through the woods towards mine and Jon's house. We out of the blue see a woman running down towards us. Once she comes closer we can tell it's Joyce.

"Mom?"

She starts panting and grasps onto him in fear. I furrow my eyebrows in worry "what happened?" I ask.

Joyce just whimpers in panic while hugging onto Jonathan. I look confused over to him while his face is also filled with worry and confusion.

We arrive at the Byers house. We call the cops to investigate what happened while Joyce is talking to the sheriff. Joyce suddenly starts explaining about the lights and how Will is missing.

I sit there watching while Jon and Hopper try to calm her down. The thing is, my lights have flickered a lot lately. I decide to wait till Hopper left to tell her. I could see that right now Hoppers talking to Joyce while he's getting up. He leaves and shuts the door. I take this opportunity to walk up to her, "you know, I've seen my lights flicker much more often than usual. I've thought they were in my head but after hearing what you said, I think not."

She looks up with hope, "so you believe me?"

I look at her, "yes."

One year later

It's been a year since the whole Will incident. I found out that Nancy Wheelers little brother had a friend or should I say girlfriend named El that literally has force powers. Crazy I know, like all she needs now is a fucking lightsaber.

I almost died trying to kill a fucking Demogorgon. That thing was so fucking ugly, I swear. I hope I never have to see that shit again. Even if it was a tad fun. Besides, Steve now has a bat with fucking nails. I remember when he barged in when we were all trying to kill the Demogorgon and Nancy was so mad.

Nancy and Jonathan have become close. Which I am happy about because he would always tell me about his little crush he's had on her for the longest time.

I am now a senior which is exciting. I've gotten so many scholarships which I am very excited about.

I am currently at Tina's Halloween party with a couple of friends. Which so far seems to be fun. I was drinking some spiked punch after I saw Nancy stumble off with Steve shaking his head. "How's things with you two?" I take a gulp of the vodka filled punch.

"Well, if I'm being honest, not so well." Steve sighs.

I look over to him and raise an eyebrow. "You should go watch her. You never wanna leave a drunk girl alone. Oh, and I like your costume," I take a sip of my drink and salute while walking over to my friends.

This year, this guy named Billy has come to the Hawkins high. Everyone has been teasing Steve about how he's not the popular guy anymore. In fact, I can see Billy pushing around in the crowd.
