I snap out of it and fall to the ground. "Hey, hey, hey, woah," I hear Steve say. They try to come close but I scoot away as quickly as possible. "Get away from me!" I yell. I honestly can't tell if what I'm seeing is real or Vecna.

"What?" He looks hurt.

I grab a wooden plank that was by the sink to point it at him while panting. "How am I supposed to know you're real?"

Steve tries to get closer but I scoot away even more if that was even possible. "It's me, Y/n. It's okay. It's me."

Somewhere inside me knows this is real so I don't struggle as he gets closer to me, yet I feel the need to ask a question only Steve would know.

"What did you give me and where did you take me when you asked me out?"

"I gave you a basket with your favorite flowers. Lilly's and Sunflowers, and your favorite snacks. Then I took you to Johnson's Diner and you picked the music."

I just look at him as he gets closer and eases down the plank. He crouches down so he's eye to eye.

"You're okay, Y/n. I'm not gonna hurt you," he runs his hands up and down my arms and he looks at me in my eyes.

I throw myself on him and hug him tightly. "Let's get you out of here, okay?" He says in my ear as he pets my hair. Steve helps me up and I climb up and fall into the mattress. Eddie helps me up and then Steve follows shortly after me.

Dustin runs up to me and hugs me, "I thought we were gonna lose you."

I hug Him back, "you'll never lose me, Dustin," I chuckle.

I let go of our hug and Robin walks up to me and hugs me along with Eddie too. I didn't know how much I needed it until it happened.

They let go and we all sit down in Eddie trailer and I tell them everything that happened. I tell them what he told me to tell El.

"He's been telling us his plan this whole time," Max says.

"Four kills. Four gates," Lucas says. "End of the world."

"If that's true....he's only one kill away," Dustin says.

"Jesus Christ," Eddie puts his head in his hands.

"Try 'em again. Try 'em again," Steve tells Max.

"Any signal?" I ask.

"No."

"Maybe you punched it in wrong. Try again," Steve says.

"I didn't punch it in wrong," Max defends.

"Well, I don't know," Steve shrugs.

"I think she knows how to use a phone," Dustin looks at Steve like he's stupid.

"I'm just saying, she could've typed it in wrong."

Max try's again but no answer, "same shit." She aggressively puts the phone back.

"How is that possible?" Lucas asks.

"I told you Joyce has this telemarketer job. She always on the phone. Mike won't stop whining about it," Dustin explains.

"Okay yeah, but this phones been busy for what, three days now? That's not Joyce. No way. Something's wrong," Max shakes her head.

"She's right. It can't be just a coincidence. It can't be. Whatever's happening in Lenora is connected to all of this. I'm sure of it," Nancy says while staring out the window. "But Vecna cants hurt them. Not if he's dead. We have to go back in there. Back to the Upside Down." She looks at us.
