Chapter 10:

"That keycard opens the door, but unfortunately the Russians with this keycard also had a massive gun. Whatever's in this room, whatever's in those boxes, they really don't want anybody finding it," Dustin paces.

We were sitting at the table in our back room. I was in the middle with Robin on my left and Steve on my right. We had Dustin spy on the Russians to see what were up against. "But there's gotta be a way in," Robin looks into the distance.

Steve blows into his hat and drops it on the table, "well, you know...I could just take him out."

"Take who out?" Robin asks.

"The Russian guard."

Robin looks at Steve like he's insane.

"What? I sneak up behind him. I knock him out, and I take his keycard. It's easy."

Robin looks at me and gives me the 'he's insane' look. "Did you not hear the part about the massive gun?" Dustin blankly says.

"Yes, Dustin, I did," Steve says slowly, "and that's why I would be sneaking."

"Dumbass," I snort.

"Hey."

"Well, please, tell me this, and be honest. Have you actually...won a fight?" Dustin crosses his arms.

"Okay, that's was one time."

"Twice. Jonathan. Year prior?"

"Listen, that doesn't count."

"Why wouldn't it? Because it looks like he beat the shit out of you."

"It was—"

"You got a fat lip, crooked nose, swollen eye, a lot of blood..."

"Things that all added up."

"I bet you Y/n would have a way better chance at beating the shit out of that Russian."

I stare at the two with the most amused face. I look over at Robin but she was looking at something, "that just might work."

I raise my eyebrow at her. She gets up and rushes to the tip jar. We run after her to see her taking all of our tips. "Hey! Over half of that's ours!" I shout.

"I need cash," Robin looks back at us.

"Well, some of that's mine," Steve says. "Where are you going?"

"To find a way into that room, a safe way! In the meantime, sling ice cream, behave, and don't get beat up! I'll be back in a jiff" Robin turns away from us and walks off.

"She's talking to you," I laugh, and walk off into the back.

I was sitting at the table drawing some doodles. Steve is handling the costumers right now. Dustin comes in to keep me company.

"Hey, Y/n," Dustin sits down in front of me.

I look up at him and smile, "hey Dustin."

He takes a while before speaking up, "do you like anyone?"

"Why?"

"Because."

"Well, yeah, I do. Why though?"

Dustin looks around and leans in, "who?"

"What? No."

"What you mean, 'no'?"

"I mean, I made an oath to not tell anyone who I like because it ends not happy." I shake my head.

"Well, come on. You can tell me. It's me, Dustin."
