I had just saw that some girl that goes to Hawkins High had died and I was walking out of the arcade because I'm on my lunch. I walk in to see Steve say my my name and quickly stops as soon as I walk in and waves at me with a smile. "Hey guys, what's going on?" I wave at them with an eyebrow up.

"Oh, hey y/n!" Robin waves energetically.

Steve walks up to me and puts his hand gently around my neck making me look up and he kisses me. He releases, "don't worry about it." He winks and starts putting VHS's on shelves.

I look over at Robin and walk up to her, "why is he being more kinky?" She just shrugs and we both glance at Steve. I jump and slide over their counter. "Anyways, I'm on my break."

"Aye, let's go!" Robin shouts. Robin and I sit down on the two seats and Steve comes sliding over and leans on the counter. The news was on the TV still talking about the murder.

Dustin and Max come rushing in, "hey, Steve."

"Wow, no 'hey, Y/n," I roll my eyes sarcastically.

"Do you guys see this?" Steve points to the news.

"How many phones do you guys have?" He looks at us.

"Someone was murdered," Steve looks at Dustin like he's crazy.

"Three," I say. Dustin and Max look at each other and Dustin slides over the counter, knocking everything off, and immediately goes on their computer.

"Careful! What are you doing, man?!" Steve yells. We walk up behind Dustin and look at the computer.

"Setting up base of operations here."

"Base of operations?" Robin repeats.

"Get off," Steve tells Dustin.

"No, I need it."

"Need it for what?" I ask.

"Eddie's friends' phone numbers."

"Eddie?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"Oh Eddie, your new Best friend you think is cooler because he plays your nerdy game?" Steve says.

"Yes." He groans and looks at Steve, "I never said that."

"Seriously, you guys, maybe on a Monday you can play around here like toddlers, but it's Saturday. It's our busiest day," Robin says, while stacking VHS's.

"Robin, I empathize, but this cannot wait," Dustin says.

"Oh my God," Steve puts his hands up on his face and groans.

"Calling Eddie's friends is an emergency?" Robin asks.

"Correct!" Dustin yells.

"Wait but why do you need this specific computer?" I ask.

"Can you fill them in while I do this?" Dustin asks Max.

"Fill us in on what?" Robin asks.

"They're about to tell us, Robin," I look over at her. Max takes a deep breath before telling us everything. She tells us about Eddie. She tells us about what they think could've killed the girl. She tells us that they need to find this friend so they can find where Eddie is. We start calling the last people who have talked to Eddie.
