Warnings :: Blood, injuries, kidnapping... no fluff in this one, sorry everyone

(Y/N POV)
You watch the monitor closely as Loki, or rather you, crosses the street and turns down the next block. Once he is out of view of the cameras on the outside of the surveillance van, you turn your attention to the monitor showing his view. Tony had placed a pinhole camera in the top button of the jacket Loki was wearing so you would be able to see what he sees. You check the coms and Loki responds, you can help but find it unsettling to hear your own voice calling back.

You hear Tony’s voice come over the coms from the command center. “Loki is in position for entry. The thermal cameras are only showing one heat source, we have to assume that is Sarah. Is everyone showing all clear?” he asks.

“All clear,” Steve responds, him and Bucky are five blocks North from the Warehouse in a second surveillance van with one of your analysists.

“All clear,” Thor calls in from his surveillance van with Nat and another analysist a few blocks to the West.

You check the external cameras again but there is still no movement from any direction. The parking lot you and Sam are parked in is five blocks South of the warehouse. You nod to Sam and he responds, “All clear.”

“Loki, all clear,” Tony says.

You hold your breath as Loki continues up the block. You put your hand over your mic and turn to Sam. “We are really just letting him walk right into a trap...” you whisper.

He puts his hand on your shoulder and covers his mic with his other hand. “Y/N, he knows what he’s doing. Thor is right, if anyone can pull off pretending to be you, its Loki,” he tries to reassure you.

You nod but don’t really feel any better. You rub your eyes and think back to yesterday’s meeting.

(the day before)
“When does she want to meet you?” Bucky asks.

"4:30 tomorrow afternoon, here's the address," you say as you hand him your phone. He puts the address into the computer and pulls it up on the map. The location appears to be an abandoned warehouse in Brooklyn.

"Oh yea... no that doesn't look like a bad idea at all," Sam laughs as he crosses his arms and leans back in his chair.

“You really thought we were going to let you go here alone?” Nat asks and you sit back down.

"Alright, well since we know this is a trap, maybe we can use it to our advantage," Clint suggests. "We send in Loki instead of Y/N and we grab Sarah."

"If we do, she might be able to lead us to Marc and the others," Bruce adds.

“This could work,” Steve says and Tony reluctantly agrees.

You and the team spend the next few hours running through various scenarios until you think you have accounted for every possible outcome...

You laid awake most of the night in Loki’s arms. You listened to his slow, steady heartbeat as he slept but your mind wouldn’t rest. It kept replaying the sound of him being stabbed by Marc and the images of him being thrown by the bomb. The last thing you wanted was for Loki to get hurt or worse and despite all the planning you were still terrified something was going to happen. You held onto him tighter and tried to force yourself to sleep.

(LOKI POV)
You reach the front door of the warehouse and put your hand on the rusted door knob. The door screeches open and the air is filled with dust. You walk into the dimly lite space carefully. You think about calling out for Sarah but you decide not to, walking further into the warehouse. Stark said there was a heat source here, so someone is inside but there was no way to tell if it was Sarah or not.
