"𝐇𝐄𝐘, 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐈 𝐀𝐒𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐔𝐘𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑?" Christian Pulisic, pulled up a chair beside his teammates who were huddled in a circle, which consisted of Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz, and Reece James.
The first training of the 2022-2023 season was about to start, and the lads decided to hang around for a bit before training started, catching up and talking about their recent holiday trips before they had to go back to work. The team just returned back to England from their USA tours, and now they were ready to focus on their upcoming campaign for the new season.
The boys turned to look at Christian, wondering what kind of idea he could be concocting in his head. Normally Christian wasn't the one to ask for favors, which made the boys a little suspicious. They knew it had to be serious if Chris was asking for help.
"Sure," Mason shrugged, as Ben beside him held up a finger and pointed at the forward. "I'm not helping you do anything illegal. I just got back," the left-back warned him, hinting about his recent ACL injury that he just recovered from.
Christian shook his head, "No, no-no. Nothing like that," he reassured him. Christian adjusted his seat, rubbing his thighs anxiously as he looked at his teammates.
"What's up?" Mason spoke, folding his arms across the backrest of the chair he was sitting on, which was turned backward.
"Do either of you have an extra room available or down for a roommate?" Christian started, looking at each one of his friends. "I have a friend that's looking for a place to stay for a bit?"
The group of boys gave him a weird look, and Reece clicked his tongue before shaking his head no, followed by Ben and Kai.
"Please? She's a good friend of mine," Christian tried again. Most of the players perked up when they recognized the pronoun.
"Four months max," he promised.
"She?" Ben paused, looking at Chris in confusion.
"Yeah, Y/N," he clarified, looking between all of his friends. "She works here."
"At Cobham?" Kai clarified, evident confusion written across his face. It was certainly weird that Christian never mentioned that he had a friend that worked at the training ground. And it was even weirder that none of them knew about her until now.
Now it was Mason's turn to speak up, "How come none of us have met her before?"
"She just started last month while you guys were gone," Christian shrugged. When the American returned from a holiday in America, Chris was greeted by a face that wasn't familiar. After talking to her for a bit, he learned that Y/N was one of the cooks for Chelsea.
