𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐘/𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏, 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆. Y/N wrapped herself in the duvet, waves of nausea adding to her misery. Her brain felt like it would swell beyond the capacity of her skull, and her dehydration was too obvious to ignore. She heard muffled voices from outside her room, sounding like arguing between two people.
She shifted in her bed uncomfortably as the sunlight poured through her room, the light striking her face instantly. Y/N opened her eyes to the sunlit room and squinted. Her mouth was immediately dry and she moaned before retreating under the duvet again.
She thought that some painkillers would help her massive headache. She made a mental note to grab some paracetamol later.
Y/N raised her heavy eyelids halfway, only for them to fall shut again. The side of her face was smooshed against the pillow next to her as she lazily wrapped her arm around the pillow.
Y/N took a quick whiff of the pillow and smiled to herself. The scent was familiar, Mason.
The girl sat up in her bed slowly, aware of her cracking headache. She glanced over to the other side of her bed and noticed the rumpled sheets beside her. She guessed Mason woke up before her.
The girl tossed off her duvet and swung her feet onto the carpet again. She stood up a little too quickly for her liking. Once on her feet, the room swayed, almost causing her to lose balance and reach out for the wall.
She had a hangover, and the voices she kept hearing downstairs were not helping. She forced herself to exit her room, stumbling downstairs to see what was going on.
She walked down the stairs slowly and squinted at the amount of sunlight flooding into the house. As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she saw Mason and Ben standing in the living room, their faces flushed with anger as they glared at each other. Her heart dropped into her stomach.
"You're a fucking idiot, Ben," Mason spat, his voice dripping with contempt. "You got Y/N drunk last night, and now she's suffering the consequences."
Ben held up his hands in surrender, his expression contrite. "I'm sorry, Mason," he said, his voice sincere. "I didn't mean to. It just kind of happened."
