Mason's heart raced as he rushed to her side. He knelt down beside her and gently shook her shoulder. "Y/N, Y/N, wake up. Are you okay?" He shook her frantically, scared for the worst. The girl mumbled incoherently, her eyes fluttering awake.
"Y/N? Open your eyes," Mason said, his voice faltering slightly. The girl stirred, looking at Mason, who was staring down at her. When she saw Mason, she tried to sit up but ended up falling back onto the floor as if her body was limp. "Mason, what are you doing here?" she slurred. He let out a breath of relief before pulling her up again, bringing her into his chest, and hugging her tightly.
"What's wrong, Mase?" she slurred, noticing that he was squeezing the life out of her. He pulled away from her, noticing the confusion on her face.
"Are you okay?" Mason asked, holding her face in his hands. His eyes roamed over her body and face cautiously, looking for any marks or anything that looked wrong. "Where's Clarke?"
Y/N furrowed her eyebrows, looking around the room and noticing he wasn't there. She shrugged and breathed out dramatically, lifting a piece of hair that fell into her face.
"I-I don't know, we were doing shots," she continued, Mason huffed in annoyance. More shots?
"How many shots did you do?" He asked slowly, continuing to support her in his arms as she fell limp. The girl clicked her tongue and smiled drunkenly, trying to recall a number.
"Ummm... only five with Ben and one more with Clarke." She shrugged, her eyes fluttering back closed. Mason cursed to himself and gently tapped her again, making her eyes open once more.
"Y/N, love, please stay awake."
"Clarke and I were talking about shiny things and stuff." She spoke, looking around the room. "I don't know where he went."
Shiny things? She wasn't making any sense at all.
"You're not making any sense," he spoke, holding her face in his hands and staring into her eyes. Her pupils were dilated, and her face was flushed. Y/N's door swung open, and Mason turned around, seeing Ben walk in with a worried look on his face.
