The two decided to spend some time together, especially with the World Cup coming up. The American wanted to make sure he got to see his best friend a bit before he left for almost a month or hopefully more depending on his team's progress.

Y/N decided on frozen yogurt, loving the delicious treat even in the November cold.

The bell above the door rattled as the two stepped inside the empty frozen yogurt parlor. Y/N smiled cheerfully as she glanced up at the chalkboard menu high on the wall, listing the different cup sizes and their corresponding prices.

She bit her lip as she grabbed the biggest cup, mentally thinking about what flavor she wanted. Christian, on the other hand, decided to grab the smallest cup, knowing that he had an important game tomorrow and that he couldn't sacrifice his healthy eating habits for frozen yogurt.

Y/N was already at the machines, picking her flavor. She smiled as she swirled a bit of raspberry yogurt in her cup, watching patiently as the cool dessert settled at the bottom of her cup. She stopped and moved on to her second flavor, pulling down the handle on the lemon-flavored yogurt.

Christian simply decided on peanut butter, filling his cup halfway with yogurt. When he finished, he turned to see his friend over at the toppings station, piling her dessert high with an assortment of candies—practically everything that was on top.

Sprinkles, cut-up fruit, gummy bears, mango pearls, and cherries to finish it off.

"You're literally a child," Chris commented, watching as she finished decorating her dessert. She looked down at her fro-yo and smiled, looking back at Chris with a shrug and saying nothing.

After Chris paid for the two treats, the two of them moved outside to the terrace, where they sat and ate their frozen yogurt. The conversation was light between the two of them, with Y/N catching Chris up on everything that had gone on in the past week.

"Mason took me to this food festival yesterday," she smiled, eating and popping another gummy bear into her mouth. She chewed slowly as Chris nodded.

"Where was it?" He asked, growing curious.

"In Portsmouth, it was really fun. I had a nice time," she said, blushing slightly, thinking about the time they'd spent together.

"Isn't he from there?" Chris asked, recalling something that he knew Mason may have mentioned before. Y/N nodded in response, digging her spoon back into her dessert. She grew silent for a moment, thinking about Mason.
