"𝐊𝐀𝐈, 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐎 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆," Y/N whispered, slipping into the vacant seat beside the German. It had officially been ten days since Mason returned home, the day Y/N resolved to start pursuing a relationship with him.

Kai glanced at the girl and shrugged, unsure of what to do. He turned to Christian, who sat on the other side of him.

"I need some ideas," Kai said, seeking Chris's input.

"I want to drop hints to Mason that I like him. I've never really done this before," she admitted, gazing at her best friend. She wasn't usually the one to make the first move in previous relationships.

"Hm, maybe a dinner?" Chris suggested, scrolling through his phone.

"At a restaurant?" she asked, seeking clarification.

"No, no," Kai shook his head. "How about preparing a home-cooked meal for him?"

"But I always do that."

"You could dress up a bit. Set the mood with candles and dim lighting," Chris added, briefly looking up at her. Y/N reached for her notebook that she always kept in her apron, grabbed a pen, and flipped to a new page, quickly jotting down the ideas.

"Okay, what else?" She said, placing the pen on her lip, lost in thought.

"Flirt with him a bit. Let him know how much you appreciate him. It'll be nice," Kai chimed in with a smile. Y/N nodded and scribbled down the notes. Chris noticed her actions and clicked his tongue disapprovingly.

He reached over, placing a hand over her notebook, halting her writing.

"Y/N, let it all come naturally to you," he suggested, advising against following a scripted approach.

"Don't study how to flirt; just be yourself." He spoke with conviction.

"Okay, okay. These are all good suggestions," she agreed, letting out an anxious breath.

Y/N closed her notebook, taking a moment to absorb the advice from her friends. She appreciated their input and realized that relying on a script might not capture the genuine connection she wanted to establish with Mason.

"You're right," she said, a hint of relief in her voice. "I don't want it to feel forced or rehearsed. I'll let my actions and words come naturally."

Kai and Chris exchanged approving nods, satisfied with Y/N's decision. They knew that authenticity and sincerity were key to building a meaningful connection.
