Karl reached home and maya and Janet were at the parlor when he barged in.

"Karl where have you been?" Maya asked worriedly.

"Maya pack your things" he said and left upstairs.

"Karl! Wait" Karl stopped in his tracks on the stairs.

"What?"

"Why should I pack?" She asked him.

"Maya we are leaving tomorrow, very early, start packing......"

"But why?"

"It doesn't matter maya, just go up and pack"

"Well it matters to me, and I am not going to pack until you tell me why....."

"Because I just want to leave! go now!" He scolded and she just stared at him before leaving upstairs.

"Karl What is wrong?" Janet asked coming to him.

"Mom, we have to leave tomorrow" he lowered his voice.

"But why?"

"Because am done here"

"Done? Done with what?" Janet asked.
"And why are you wet?" She looked at his clothes.

"Nothing" he looked away and Janet looked at him.

"Did you see Rina?" She asked and he looked at her in shock.

"No i didn't" he said.

"Then why do you want to leave? And why are you angry all of a sudden?"

"Because that's how I am mom"

"No that's not how you're, you are just feeling all worked up and angry because you met Rina and let me guess, she didn't want you with her, that's why you got angry" Karl looked away remembering he and Rina in the shower.

"You are a very wicked person, You keep coming to me even when I don't want you an inch near me"

Those words hurt him, that's why he got angry. He closed his eyes and sat on the stair.

"Mom, I tried getting her but she didn't let me, so what could I have done?" He said sadly and Janet sat beside him.

"And you think the best solution is to go away?" Janet looked at him.

"I want to go and forget about her"

"You know that is not possible at all because memories don't disappear through distance it is through hatred and you don't hate her"

"Fine then, I will hate her and despise her with my whole heart"

"Let me see you try, with all the love she has given you I don't think you would be able to do that"

Rina was walking alone in the streets, she told the taxi driver to stop her along the road and he did. She had no way to go at all so she was left walking around her mind and heart in someone else.

"You will only have kids with me and I will only be your lover till we die" she remembered Karl telling her, so what happened? Are they dead yet? Why are they separated?

Karl closed his room door and went to his cupboard. He opened it and it looked so different, so empty, her clothes weren't there anymore. He collected the hangers and stuffed in his bag. He opened the drawers and collected everything there and stuffed, then he saw the diamond ring. He slowly collected it and flashed back to when he put it on her finger then to when she removed it and gave them he squeezed it tight in his hand before putting it in his bag. He walked to the bed and saw the picture frame of Rina. He walked to it and collected it. Tears flowed out as he looked at smiling Rina in the picture.
Remembering every feature of her. Her eyes, his best thing about her then her smile. He touched the picture with his other hand he then saw the watch he wore on his wrist. The watch was gifted to him by Rina.
