The next day, Karl was out to work and damn that was the workers worst day ever, he scolded them for every little thing, he deducted their end of the month salary. They hated their boss that way.
"Sir, here is your schedule for the week" a lady came to his office and dropped a paper on it.
Karl moves his gaze from his laptop to the paper. He had one glance at it and then looked at the woman.
"Meeting by ten am?" He asked and she nodded.
"Yes sir"
"Change it to nine"
"But sir we have a program by 9:30 and am not sure you will be able get ready for another meeting......"
"Miss Harvey do what I said, I will be ready"
"Okay sir but I want to remind you that the media news will be coming in for an interview immediately after the program" Harvey looked down saying it.
"And so what?" He asked.
"So I don't think you will be able to handle three things at once......."
"Just shut the fuck up and do what I say! Change it to nine, if you feel you don't want to do it then get the fuck out of this building!" Harvey shivered.
"Am sorry sir, I will change it" she said and collected the paper before leaving.
Karl shook his head after she left, this people were making things more difficult for him. He was about to go back to his laptop when the door opened. He looked up and saw Davis.
Yeah great him again.
"Get up" Davis said and Karl raised an eyebrow before standing up slowly.
"What?" Karl asked and Davis quickly held his collar.
"What did your stupid girlfriend do?! Tell me" Davis asked angrily.
"Which girlfriend?" Karl asked and Davis left his collar.
"Rina of course who else?!"
"If you are mad at her why don't you go to her and yell at her? Why are you coming here?" The men who tried to stop Davis to come in stood there not wanting to interfere.
"Isn't she your girlfriend? Why can't I blame you for her deeds?"
"Because she is my ex now nothing else" Davis stopped and smiled.
"Wow, so finally you guys broke up" Karl narrowed his eyes in confusion.
What did he mean by finally?
"Yes we broke up, and so what?"
"I knew it, you guys will end up separated, long love doesn't last"
"What do you mean long love? What about short ones, do they last?" Karl asked.
"You guys have been together for too long and it got me jealous and kind of angry" Karl looked at Davis in shock. He was dreaming right? Of all people, Davis wouldn't be saying this but he was.
"Jealous?" Karl asked.
"Yes"
"Now I see, you joined hands with Layla to get us separated us right?"
"Joined hands? What are you saying? Rina did this, she got I and Layla separated......."
"Well I'm happy you guys broke up because she isn't that kind of person......."
