Chapter 61

Karl got into his car and turned it on, he didn't feel like going home but what could he do?
He couldn't even sleep so how will he have a rest?

He opened the hand rest in the car and brought out his black headphones. He brought out his phone to connect it and met Rina's picture in his lock screen. He typed in his password and connected his phone's Bluetooth to his headphone.

He put the headphones on his ears and adjusted his seat backwards. He closed his eyes resting his head a little, his headache calmed down a little. His mind got steady and he slowly dozed off.

He opened his eyes when he heard a knock, he looked at his window and met Zamora knocking. He quickly sat up straight and wind down the window.

"So you didn't go home?" She asked but he kept quiet.

"Seriously Karl, you need to rest"

"I am fine, I have already rested and....."

"Resting by listen to music?" She asked and he kept quiet. 

"I want to see you go home now, it's seven pm Karl, the others have left already"

"They have other things to do aunt and I don't"

"Do you want me to pull your ear before you do as I say?" She asked and he shook his head.

"Good, now leave now. And do not come back till tomorrow"

"Wh....."

"I will stay with her, go home and rest, tomorrow you can stay with her the whole day" she said and he unwillingly moved the gear and drove off. Zamora watched his car go out from the hospital till it went out of sight.

Karl reached home and refused to eat or drink anything apart from water. He locked himself in his room completely draining himself out with alcohol. 

"Karl open up" maya knocked on the door, she heard what happened about Rina from Marius.

"Karl, they said Rina has woken up" maya lied and he quickly stood up and opened the door.

"Where......" he stopped when he realized she was lying. He was about to close the door when she stopped him.

"Wait wait,  can I come in?" She asked and he just looked at her for some seconds before walking into the room leaving the door for her.

She walked into the room slowly as she looked at the three empty bottles on the floor. He got on the bed and lied there.

"You need food?" Maya asked but he shook his head.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Maya you realize Rina is at the hospital"

"I do realize that but you shouldn't weigh your health down"

"It's alright, I am fine, go check on mum"

"She's doing well and she said I should check on you"

"Okay, I will eat just a little" he said and she stood up and left.When maya came back, she didn't see Karl on the bed. He was at the bathroom throwing up,  she dropped the food on the bed and knocked on the bed.

"Karl, are you okay?" She asked but no one answered.

"Karl?" She called again.

"I am fine maya" he said and she relaxed, what if he does something to himself and then slips in his own coma. She shook her head removing her head from that thought. 

She sat on the bed and waited until he came out wearing another cloth.

"Are you feeling okay Karl?" Maya asked and he nodded and sat beside her.
