Karl left the room and closed the door but when he was about to take a step and leave he heard her call his name and he stopped and opened the door and saw her sitting on the bed breathing heavily. He walked to her quickly and sat beside her.
"What happened?" He looked at Rina whose hand was trembling.
"What happened Rina" he cupped her face but instead she just hugged him clutching his shirt.
He was confused, what was happening to her?
"Rina speak to me"
"Don't leave me alone Karl, please. Stay with me" he pulled out and looked at her.
"Fine, I will stay with you, wherever you go, but please stop crying already, hm?" Rina nodded and he pulled her in for a hug again.
"I don't want to sleep"
"Why?"
"I can't sleep"
"Shhh, it's okay, watch tv, I will get you tea" he said and she nodded. He left her and left the room.
When he left, her mind drifted back to her mother and now she didn't know why but she heard Zamora's voice in her head.
"Rina" she called her name and she started panicking.
"Rina, why did you let me die? You let her kill me, why? It's your fault" her heart started racing.
"Please go away" she tightened her grip on the blanket.
"It's your fault" Rina closed her eyes but she still heard it.
"It's your fault Rina"
"It's your fault"
"It's all your fault Rina, your fault"
"You let me die Rina, your fault"
Karl opened the door and saw Rina shivering with her eyes closed. He closed the door behind him and went to her. He dropped the tea on the stool and cupped her face.
"Rina......" she quickly opened her eyes and jumped up in terror and fear.
"Rina it's me, what happened?" He asked but she just kept on breathing heavily without talking.
Karl looked at her, her mother's death really affected her, a lot.
"Rina look at me, what is wrong?" Rina holds his hands that cupped her face.
"K-Karl" she hugged him tight again, Karl could feel her whole body trembling.
"It's okay" he patted her back and she calmed down slowly.
"It's okay, come and have your tea" she pulled out and he carried the tea cup.
"It's hot, so I brought a straw for you, wanna use a straw?" He asked and she nodded.
"Okay" he put the straw in the hot tea and brought it to her mouth, she put her mouth in it and sipped.
"Is it good?" He asked using the straw to turn the tea.
"No" she said.
"You're lying again" he said.
"No am not, it's too good not just good" she said and he smiled.
"Okay, I will take that" he brought it to her lips and she sipped again.
"You really scared me when you fainted, don't do that ever again"
"I am sorry" she said before sipping the tea.
"You wanted to tell me something about the kidnap?" He asked and she remembered but was quiet.
"Is it okay to tell me now?"
