"Ladies and gentlemen, we are very happy to see so many people right here gathered to celebrate someone. Well we have been waiting for so long so can we welcome the birthday celebrant!" A guy holding the microphone said and everyone began clapping.
Just then Amaya walked down stairs with Janet, she wore a very beautiful red gown, glittering in the lights. She looked very beautiful as everyone awed.
Rina was clapping when Karl walked behind her, she felt his aura when he came in.
"Why are you here now?" She asked him looking at maya.
"Am Sorry I am just obsessed with your presence"
"If you're then you shouldn't have left"
"Now can we just have a perfect conversation, you can talk anyhow when the party is over, I want to have a good temper when speaking with people."
"I am not the one who said you should follow me around"
"I go wherever my legs takes me too"
Rina rolled her eyes and watched what was going on.
"Thank you so much, thank you so much" Maya was now speaking on the microphone.
"I am so happy that you all are present today and am glad, thank you once again" they clapped for her as the music began.
"Let the party begin" the man said and everyone started cheering.
Amaya saw Rina and Karl from far, like seriously? Karl was with her, she thought he refused to see any of his friends.
"Oh my God Rina!" Amaya ran and hugged Rina.
"Happy birthday Amaya, how are you?"
"Am fine you?"
"Am great"
"I see you're having some good time with my brother" maya smiled and Rina pretended to smile back.
Good time? Maybe she meant bad time.
"Okay I will catch you guys up later" maya said and left to see other people.
"Having a good time?" Karl whispered to Rina in her ear.
Rina remained quiet not moving, she felt his breath on her neck.
Oh how she missed this feeling, it's been a very long time she felt this way.
He dangled her long silver earring but Rina held his hand stopping him.
"Karl we aren't dating anymore so why can't you just go, you are distracting me" Karl smiled after hearing what she just said.
"What's funny?" She asked.
"Nothing.....you're so funny" he said.
"How am I so funny?"
"The fact that Rina you say the opposite of what you really mean"
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean, you are enjoying my company yet you tell me to leave......" Karl sighed and placed his hands in his pockets.
Rina turned around when the master of ceremonies spoke.
"Can we have a dance here people? Not just a dance out celebrant will choose who ever she wants to dance, and they must dance no matter what, so Amaya....."
Everyone clapped and she collected the microphone.
"Okay, first of all I will call on my best people, Gavin and Flora!" Amaya pointed where they stood, and the lights went to them.
Flora choked on her drink when she heard her name.
